October in New Orleans brings its own particular magic - the fierce summer heat gives way to golden afternoons, and Magazine Street’s cafés, boutiques, and galleries hum with renewed life. This single-level, first-floor home on one of the city’s most beloved corridors offers a warm base to settle into after a day of exploring. Historic windows draw in the season’s softer light, and the thoughtfully restored interiors give the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to stay an extra night. From a private entrance off the street to a fully fenced backyard at the rear, the property offers a genuine sense of place.

Living space
Inside, the home is arranged for ease and real comfort. Central heating keeps things warm as autumn temperatures vary, while ceiling fans circulate air throughout the open layout. A dedicated workspace - set in a private room with its own door - is ideal for anyone keeping up with work between outings. Smart lock self check-in means arriving on your own schedule, with no coordination required. Exterior security cameras are positioned around the property, with a Ring camera at the front door for added reassurance.

Sleeping arrangements
All three bedrooms are set up for proper rest - room-darkening shades block the light regardless of the hour, and fresh bed linens are provided throughout. Six guests sleep comfortably across the three rooms. A safe keeps valuables secure, and clothing storage throughout the home - including a walk-in closet, closets, and dressers - gives everyone room to fully unpack. The in-unit washer and dryer, along with hangers and an iron, take care of the practical side.

Kitchen & dining
The kitchen is fully equipped for proper home cooking. A Frigidaire refrigerator, Whirlpool electric stove and single oven, microwave, and dishwasher are on hand, along with cooking basics, dishes and silverware, and a baking sheet. A drip coffee maker comes stocked with coffee for slow mornings, and a hot water kettle handles the rest. Pull up to the dining table for meals together, or head outside to the outdoor dining area when the weather invites it.

Bathroom
Two full bathrooms come stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, and a hair dryer. A bathtub offers a proper way to unwind at the end of the day. Fresh towels and cleaning products are provided.

Outdoor
The fully fenced private backyard is a genuine retreat - lush greenery, a lemon tree, outdoor furniture, and a gas BBQ grill create a natural setting for afternoon or evening use. An outdoor dining area is set up for alfresco meals. The private heated pool - available year-round, open 24 hours, and stocked with pool toys - is here for those who want it. Out front, the porch with rocking chairs is a natural perch for a morning coffee or to watch the neighbourhood come and go.

Location
Magazine Street extends in both directions from your front door, with cafés, independent boutiques, and galleries within easy walking distance. The French Quarter and Superdome are a short ride away. When Mardi Gras season arrives, parade routes pass directly in front of the home - just steps from the yard - giving you a prime spot without having to fight for position.

Entertainment & extras
A 55 inch HDTV with Roku is set up for easy evenings in, and fast Wi-Fi connects throughout the home. Families with young children will appreciate the Pack ‘n Play/travel crib and folding high chair, both available upon request, along with babysitter recommendations. Cleaning is available during the stay for longer visits, and long-term stays are welcome.

Please note: No parties, no unregistered guests, and no smoking. Any attempt to host a party of any kind will result in immediate termination of the stay with no refund.
