Absolutely a great stay! I booked this for my husband and daughter for volleyball tournament and it was so convenient for them and very nice and comfortable. 100% better than staying at a hotel- felt very safe .
Very nice place to stay at. Very clean. You have the necessary to make your stay memorable. It would’ve been better if you had TV’s in the bedrooms that would have made it easier than having to go downstairs to unwind from the long day/nights. There’s a Pizza place around the corner which made it very convenience.
Quiet building, easy access to the shopping areas of magazine st. and walkable to good restaurants. Spacious loft apartment was super clean. Responsive Managment; had a broken coffee pot that was replaced same day. 10/10
You do have to follow the directions to enter with the building entrance code, and your room code. After hours, the person on the phone is helpful. There is no check in per say, but the loft had all amenities, and I will refer my friends and family.
Apartment was nice. Furniture was great. Bed was comfortable. Had everything we needed for our stay.
Biggest issue is the area it’s in and the COMPLETE lack of parking. We left with a stack of parking tickets ($40 each). So go ahead and figure that into your budget with this rental.
My family and I had a fantastic trip! The apartment had the perfect New Orleans vibe. From the decor to the record player, it was perfect! It was a spacious apartment with essentials provided - soap, laundry detergent, bath products, towels, kitchen needs, etc. The area was safe and easily accessible. Note that there is no parking. You can pay to park in the WWII Museum garage. It has 24/7 access. Overall, I highly recommend booking this apartment.
First time staying at a hotel without a reception desk. Check-in was smooth. Just door codes, no keys to lose. Found on-street parking. Plenty of things to do within walking distance. The suite was basically a one-bedroom apartment, very spacious. Even came with a washer and dryer for laundry. Full kitchen was nice, though, not a fan of the "coffee maker". There is a kettle, I'd recommend bringing instant coffee. This would be a great place to stay for extended periods.
The space is beautiful and spacious. We stayed here for Jazz Fest. It was a bit out of the way, but worked. My main issue is that it's an apartment building/condo and lacks some of the conveniences of a hotel. There is no front desk. If you arrive early, you can't check your bags and come back to check in. You can't have packages shipped to you that go to a front desk. The online communication was good, but doesn't overcome the missing pieces mentioned above.
The loft itself was great. Easy to book and access the room, walking distance to the convention center. Minimalistic with the accessories, 2 big clean bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 stories, a lovely kitchen and sitting area. Very large and spacious. Great for a few people that want to room together.
The space is a bit of a diamond in the rough however. The neighborhood is ok, once you access the first locked door it's a longer walk to the correct elevator. I had someone in the building ask to use my phone which I declined. The entire building has very strong "herbal" smells, which I didn't really notice in the room. Would be great for 2 or more people staying together, walking around together in the area. Not recommended for a solo stay.
Stayed here to attend a conference at the Convention Center. Easy walk, never felt unsafe in or around the building. Residents of the building are very nice.
