"The Horatio Suites Hotel is a lovely renovated property in Mudgee. The rooms are spacious and include a balcony, which is a great feature. However, it was disappointing that there were no chairs provided on the balcony, we had to drag one from inside to enjoy it. We were also a little let down that the hotel didn’t acknowledge our anniversary; a small gesture such as a late checkout, a complimentary drink, or even a simple note would have been a nice touch, particularly as it’s not on the cheaper side of hotels in Mudgee. Saying that, we would stay there again."

"Chateau Elan is an excellent place to stay. Grounds are immaculate, staff cannot do enough for you and the spa is wonderful. We stayed in the spa suites, they are nice but can be a bit noisy. We previously stayed in the villa studio and prefer that room. The restaurants are very good and restaurant staff are so kind. We had spa treatments and they were excellent. Staff at the spa will ensure you are happy and comfortable. We will definitely return to the chateau!"

"We had an amazing stay at The Lane Retreat! Large room, quiet, perfectly located. The breakfast amenities in the room were healthy and adequate. The Pantry store on site was great for morning coffee. We stayed 2 nights and booked a room each. Great place to reset and relax after a day of wine tasting. The room just needed a vacuum, but otherwise the facilities were delightful. "
