I would really appreciate feedback on what I could do differently to be a 5 star for you and your family, how can I improve? I felt we had regular communication prior to your arrival and during your stay. My listing was really clear that it had ONE bathroom, with an additional sink and vanity area that greatly helps for brushing teeth, hair and make-up area. The heat pump/AC is brand as of June 2023, as I never offered AC in previous years of renting, and still received 5 Star status. My pantry is equipped with more appliances than any average rental; Nespresso virtuo machine, toaster, toaster oven, kettle, rice cooker, coffee bean grinder, Vitamix blender, hand mixer, and multi-use coffee machine for single kuerig and pots of ground coffee. I provide all dish and dishwasher soap, laundry pods, some toiletry items, ample paper towel and toilet paper, ziploc bags, spices, so many items that I have not experienced when I use Short Term Rental Services to book my own vacations. I additionally provide two beach lawn chairs and large beach towels for the use of guests. I have hundreds of movie DVD's, adult and children's books, games, playing cards. I have ample seating outside on the veranda and around the fire pit. As a mention, you did bring a larger 15 month young dog with you that was not disclosed in the booking. I do allow pets so it was not a problem. For future reference, I do allow pets on a per booking basis, that I need to approve. I hope you and your family enjoy the rest of your summer. All the best!

Hi Linda, I am very sorry to hear that you had trouble sleeping. I wish you had brought the alarm situation to my attention and I could have dealt with it right away. I will contact them and see why this is happening. I am sorry the heavy rains kept you awake the second evening, this of course is out of my control. I do know it can be quite loud, unfortunately there is not much I can do about this. I gather with your luggage being lost for several days, and wearing the same clothes, this certainly contributed to your overall experience on the island. I do value feedback and I will always work with my guests when I am aware, and when it is something I can work with. I wish you a wonderful summer and I do hope you will visit our island again. Hi, thank you for your review. I am so sorry the floor was not swept. I am working with a new cleaner and I really appreciate the feedback so I can work on any areas that need attention. The towels should have been folded and in the bathroom cabinet. The remote for the outdoor lights was on the counter, or kitchen drawer, with instructions taped on it, specifically so guests would know what it was for. It is small, so I will in future, put in in the plastic sleeve with household instructions. Enjoy the rest of your summer!

Hi! I am glad you enjoyed your stay. I did have a couple of folding chairs in the closet and I only realized they were missing after you checked out. Lso, I use the flat floor cushions, that are in the great room closet. I put them on the coffee table and use it as a bench for the dining table - it gives you two extra seats at the table!

Thanks for your honest review. Again, so sorry about the WIFI, and really wished it had been fixed sooner for you. I will also be taking up the issue with Bell Aliant for taking so long to repair the line. I arrived for my own summer vacation the day of your departure. Thanks so much for how clean and tidy you left the property. I really appreciated it. I bought 8 citronella plants, and citronella torches to help with the mosquitos. I also bought a 'smoker' that seems to help as well, so it has been more tolerable the past two weeks. The torches and the smoker are available for guests to use. I hope to have a better solution next year and intend to screen-in my veranda. Mosquitos have always been an issue on the island. All the best to you and your family.
