"This was our second stay at Barns and it not disappoint. The rooms are spotlessly clean, nice touch with the mini fridge with fresh milk and water. The street is very quiet, as are the rooms. Only 3 rooms but we didn’t hear or see anyone so we had the beautiful back terrace to ourselves, a little sun spot! Lovely large kitchen/dining area for your use but we ate out both nights. Would highly recommend."

"The fittings in the room were tired and worn. The tea/coffee tray was kept in a cupboard but was warm. Needs to be on the side. Bed comfy room very clean "

"Great stay at the Hopetoun Arms. Super staff and service throughout our stay, everyone was friendly and made us feel very welcome. The room was very comfortable and spacious, never been in a room with such a huge bathroom. Meals in the pub were excellent and efficiently served. Overall a very good stay, value for money excellent."
