"phone & wi-fi access was terrible. that said the room was surprisingly quiet considering how close to freeway we were & very convenient to places we went tho none were 'walkable' still the staff were excellent & very helpful (due to train schedule we arrived quite late and they were most accomidating = loved having a fridge/microwave- tv service was great. i personally found the mattress hard but i like a softer one. wish they had softer pillows tho. -- this is not against the room - i just find the platform bed style they use (as does motel 6 etc) to be very uncomfortable as the mattress slides around on it. but thats just not a preference of mine."

"Such a lovely little cottage tucked away in the most beautiful and well tended garden. The host is very friendly, welcoming, and has excellent taste! We were very comfortable, she went out of her way to make us feel at home with sweet little touches like organic half and half for the French press coffee and a perfectly ripe avocado. Charlotte the dog was a welcome bonus."
