"Everything was excellent and lovely breakfast. This is not a complaint but just wasn`t expecting to pay a small fee of £5.00 for parking, I guess it goes to cover some aspect of security, not sure why its not covered by the accommodation cost."

"This hotel is very comfortable, and in a great location for the Quay area, its about 5 minutes walk to the restaurants and bars. The Cathedral is about 2 minutes in the opposite direction. The hotel is an older building with interesting history, but its very well appointed, clean and the staff are friendly and approachable. A query that I had was soon resolved. There is secure parking under the hotel, which is a great advantage in the centre of a city. It also has a Miller and Carter restaurant."

"Great hotel, was under renovation, but our room was excellent. The only downside was the younger adults who decided to have a party in the car park outside until 3 am in the morning! But the staff did their very best to move them on. It is a public car park for the bowling across the road. Generally, the restaurant in the hotel is better than that across the road. Quieter, and the food was very good. The pool was great for the children."
