The bar overlooks the golf course and has lots of nooks and crannies to settle in with a glass of whatever to people watch. The restaurant has a very good menu and the staff are attentive and make sure all is OK with your meal. Breakfast is self serve with full platters of tasty food. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"The hotel is in a lovely position at the side of a river and is handy for visiting Hadrian's Wall and the nearby towns of Hexham and Corbridge. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and not to be missed, especially the evening meals."
