A couple's get-away in the woods.

Nestled right in the middle of approximately 8 acres of WOODS, you will find the Red Hickory. A cozy 1008 square foot cabin with an open Living Room, Dining Room area and an open loft area. This cabin includes a queen size bed in the loft and a fold out couch to sleep 1 couple or a small family comfortably. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, utensils and pots and pans for the nights you want to cook "at home" and snuggle up in front of the wood burning stove. Are you into grilling?? Two GRILLS are available for you whether you like charcoal or gas, you have your pick!

And, of course, the HOT TUB is the most important part of your vacation. Enjoy sitting in the private hot tub with views of the surrounding woods. Also, a FIRE RING is located just off the deck for you to enjoy a nice warm campfire on chilly evenings.

The cabin is also equipped with a flat screen TV that has local cable, along with a blue-ray player. Or bring your own streaming device and plug it right in. WIRELESS HIGH SPEED INTERNET is available at no cost !!! And cell service is pretty good too!

Close to all of the Hocking Hills State Parks, Downtown Logan, Nelsonville Bike Path, Wayne National Forest and Dorr Run ATV Trails, horseback riding, zip lining, restaurants and more. And Athens and OU are both just a few minutes down the road too.

So whether you are planning to get out and about to enjoy the HOCKING HILLS' natural beauty, or just relax and unwind, this cabin is PERFECT for you.

The "BASE RATE" for this cabin is based on 2 guests staying. Each additional guest is $25.00 per person, per day. 2 night minimum stay. Please note the driveway is a long hill. Four Wheel drive is preferred transportation, however front wheel drive will work too.

Fantastic

Upon arrival we were greeted with a property that was clean and well appointed with thoughtful amenities. The deck was very nice and the hot tub was clean and in good working order. The location was perfect as it was secluded but close enough to everything we enjoy in the Hocking Hills area. This is by far the nicest cabin we’ve stayed at in the area. We will definitely be returning.

Extremely Peaceful

An amazing secluded property. It was very hot when we stayed but the cabin was shaded by all the mature trees. We were able to sit on the deck and enjoy nature. The cabin is beautiful and the owners thought of everything. The only issue we had was the internet kept rebooting one evening, but it wasn’t really a bother as we weren’t there for technology, it was more about being disconnected and relaxing. The owner is very responsive. Would highly recommend this to friends and family. We would definitely rent this cabin again.

Love this cabin

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. Everything was perfect for us. The driveway in was a little steep but we had no problem with AWD vehicle. I would definitely stay again but for a few more nights.

A wonderful weekend away

Another wonderful trip at this property. Between the fully stocked kitchen, wood burner, and hot tub, we had a much needed getaway from all our wedding planning! This was our second stay, first time with the dog!, and it is our favorite cabin to come to in Hocking Hills. Just wish our stay was longer! We'll definitely be back!
