"The Oratory place ( in Yelverton) was just perfect for us (3 adults, a child and a dog) it felt like a true home away from home in a new area in England that we decided to explore. The Oratory was so clean, comfortable and perfectly situated as it is an incredible base for exploring Dartmoor National Park. There are 2 local pubs close by and we decided to try the Plume of Feathers (a 10min walk) which had some very friendly pub workers (+ pub manager) and we had some delicious food and local drinks. There are more places to eat in different areas (like 30mins drive or so) around Dartmoor National Park like local cafes and restaurants. We heartily recommend the Oratory to anyone looking for the perfect Dartmoor getaway."
