We booked our stay initially for the Lantern Festival but also visited the Kitchen Kettle Village as suggested by our hosts David and Ester who are both very kind. We were going to visit their farm and buggy ride the following day but we were all tuckered out from exploring and the festival. (It gives us a reason to return!) "This property was so unique and truly did embody the steamboat theme. The staff was kind and courteous, the decor was fitting and everything was in working order that we used. The shower could have used a quick rinse and the mini fridge was in need of a wipe and to be on a colder setting, it was quite warm until we changed it, but aside from that we would definitely stay there again. There were many amenities nearby, shopping, food, etc. so that was also a huge plus."
