We had a great stay here! So quaint and comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful! Loved the whirlpool tub – just wish there were some soaps and shampoos you could’ve used in the tub rather than attached to the shower wall. Would definitely stay here again!

The staff were courteous to me during my stay. The breakfast was a nice spread. The location is perfect. The bathroom was not fully cleaned, hairs from a previous occupant were left in the shower. Overall a good stay.

This was a wonderful surprise! We booked our stay here (3 nights) just based on what we read about it. We had a delightful stay! The accommodations were very comfortable and the staff welcoming and helpful. Nice water pressure in the shower, with lots of hot water. The continental breakfast was great. The overall decor of Brandywine River was charming. It almost felt like a b&b. We will most definitely return and recommend this hotel to our friends. "Chef's Kiss!"

What a wonderful place to stay when we visited nearby Longwood Gardens and The Museum. We had a clean room, that was quiet. It was perfect for us and at a reasonable price for the area. Restaurants and shopping were nearby. The breakfast was adequate, but nothing special. The waffle maker did not work. The hardboiled eggs were hard to peel. The staff was friendly and helpful, including the room cleaner when I asked where the ice machine was. I will book here for our Christmas visit to Longwood.

The staff in the breakfast room was great! The coffee was fresh and hot! The room was not heated. A space heater was provided and worked well but unfortunately that is not what we expected or paid for. We were afraid to leave it on overnight and woke up to a cold room. Please rectify for the next guests because I plan to recommend to friends.

Convenient location. Nice staff. However, property not well maintained. Elevator was filthy, even had dead bugs. Room not cleaned well. Messy bed, dirty rugs and floors especially in bathroom.
