"I would give this hotel a 3 star cause yes hotel is nice and clean but the beach is a long walk away you either have to walk or ask hotel staff to take you to the beach. Then you have to make sure your saving a beach seat since 8am if not you won’t get a seat or you sit in the back rows . Food is a alright on the beach. Waiter Kado was very nice. Our view in our room said harbor view but it faces the traffic so you hear the cars and sirens sometimes maybe I have very high expectations cause last time I stayed at the Kimpton and that hotel is right on the beach. Think this time that’s why I was disappointed when I booked the hotel. I thought it was right on the beach. Overall, for the price, it’s not bad. The hotel was nice and clean. Staff is nice."

"The staff was super pleasant and kind - especially the front desk staff. I guess my biggest gripe is that the pool area isn't very inviting. It's not well lit at night and just generally felt like it needed tlc. The restaurant doesn't have much of a vibe and the food is bland but fine. The coffee sucks but it is what you expect at a hotel. It is on the far south side of 7MB so expect long walks but we already knew about that so it was no big deal for us.. we did like our stay here but I think next time we'd just do an Airbnb with some amenities like kayaks or paddle boards. They do give beach chairs and towels though!"

"Broken toilet half way through our stay. One outside staff member was very slow on taking orders and was rather unresponsive to trying and getting our order placed. Eventually we got our waters and Nacho's but the tortillas were all very soggy and said it was probably because the staff that delivers the orders took it to the wrong location. We did notify the senior hotel staff members but in the end, it didn't appear things changed with the waitress. She made excuses that it was due to the larger reserved area for a party taking up all of her time. We did notify the supervisor to let him know she needed help but it appeared that didn't happen and we were just offered free drinks from the bar but we declined because we don't drink alcohol. "

"Great Location, Easy Beach Access, and a Comfortable SetupWe had a really great stay and would definitely come back.The main living space worked really well for us. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we ended up using the peninsula a lot for puzzles, which was a fun bonus. The living room was comfortable, and everything opened right out to the patio.The patio was one of our favorite spots. Perfect for morning coffee and sitting with a book. It was quiet and just a great way to start the day.The location of the unit was ideal. The beach was literally steps from the door, which made it so easy to go back and forth throughout the day.The staff and property management were also very responsive and easy to work with, which made everything smooth.Overall, it was a comfortable, easy vacation stay in a great location. Exactly what we were hoping for."
