"The Metropole is a reminder of the glory days of Llandrindod, a big Victorian hotel that has changed little over the years. The food is generally good and plentiful and the service is very good. The spa is worth a visit, the facilities are very good, especially the pool area. The hotel is starting to look a little shabby again, but is clean and tidy. We have been staying here for years and will come back again. "

We had a swim in the Spa pool which was a wonderful experience. We ate in the Brasserie and enjoyed delicious food and service. "This property is at the end of a no through road. It is adjacent to open hill farmland but the nearest small town is only about 15minutes drive away. It is immaculately presented and the hosts are very friendly. They welcome single well behaved dogs and have a secure enclosed lawn area {the fencing would not deter an large,agile unsupervised dog) Suited us perfectly."
