"Check in was quick and easy, the room was clean but there was very little space and no coat hooks or hooks for towels in bathroom. The beds were uncomfortable (seemed old) and the single bed was very squeaky and made lots of noise every time my son moved. The hotel is dog friendly but costs an extra £10 per night. There was very little space for our dogs bed. The room was also very warm. The carpet on the stairs looked like it had not been hoovered in a long time. "

"Fabulous lodge! Idyllic location for a peaceful short break but Llandrindod Wells & Builth Wells are close enough for cafes, restaurants & shops. Only a half hour drive to the beautiful Elan Valley reservoirs.The lodge is extremely well equipped, clean & modern with a fabulous log burner which was very welcomed on our bitterly cold, snowy stay. The icing on the cake is the amazing hot tub. In better weather I’m sure the views would be incredible. Highly recommended!"

"We had a good stay, wouldn't return. Weekend breakfast timing is 0800-1000 but we were offered 0700-0900 as the only people in the hotel and the owner had other plans. We asked for 0830 and he put 0800. Later we asked for closer to 0900 and we were told that not possible, we saw them drive off after serving breakfast. The room was good, loose floor tiles in bathroom and only one bath mat despite a shower and separate bath. No snacks and poor selection of hot drinks in the room. Hotel is clearly dated with thin walls and doors, we could hear music in the kitchen in the morning. Difficult to get to plug sockets. Lovely quiet location and Llandrindod is not far away. "

"Cottage was in a beautiful setting, peaceful and rural. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Hot tub was perfect. Beds were ridiculously comfy and with the peace and quiet we slept like logs! Tracey the owner was friendly and welcoming and gave us lots of helpful information about the area. And we even had a fabulous welcome from Bella the puppy! We will definitely come back and recommend it to others."

"Lovely location and views, so peaceful. Owners really nice and cares about the accommodation very friendly, all kept nice and clean, everything you need. Hot tub lovely such a great view. We would go back only thing is the long farm track okay with our vehicle but small cars need to be careful."
