"My wife and I stayed in a room with a private bathroom, and we feel that this was a nice place to stay for two nights. (Note however that there's no room that is accessible without using stairs.)
The room was rather simple but clean and comfortable. Hot coffee was available even in the evening in the common kitchen area. The location is very convenient for visiting UW, the surrounding area is vibrant but not too noisy, yummy food at reasonable prices in walking distance.
There was one gotcha moment for us, we didn't have an unlock code to open the entrance door on arrival and there was nobody at the front desk. I searched for the code everywhere on my cellphone, but nothing. We quickly gave up, called the front desk number and a friendly staff came down to help, and that turned out to be the right thing to do. When we made a reservation we chose to pay on arrival, and the code was issued only after the staff scanned my credit card. If you experience something similar, just call."
