Not recommended!

We arrived and they were not expecting us even through we had a confirmed booking. After two phone calls the receptionist still couldn't confirm our booking. We waited around and still didn't get anywhere. We then asked to see the room which was unprepared, unaired, smelly, damp, mouldy and sited right next the public toilets next door. The next available town was Maun, another 4 hour drive away so couldn't wait for the receptionist to sort our booking so we left. We feel angry that we had per-paid for this and will see if we can get a refund through Expedia.

Passer son chemin !

Le lodge n avait pas recu la reservation , heureusement que nous sommes arrivés tôt nous avons pu avoir la dernière chambre . Il a fallu demander à plusieurs reprise une serviette de toilette. Pas d eau chaude le premier matin, le deuxième jour pas d eau ! Situe sur une route nationale , bruits des camions. Ce lodge vaut de par sesprestations 50% du prix affiché, d autant plus qu il n y a pas de petit dejeuner. A quelques kilomètres plus loin pour 8 € de plus très joli lodge avec belle piscine, jardin tropical. A deconseiller ++++++

Das Maya Guest Inn befindet sich mitten im Zentrum von Nata und liegt direkt an der Strasse. Die Badezimmer sind meiner Ansicht nach sehr abgelebt und nicht ansprechend. Der Preis ist meiner Ansicht nach nicht gerechtfertigt für das was dem Gast geboten wird. Ich würde nicht noch einmal ein Zimmer im Maya Guest Inn buchen.

Basic accommodation near Nata Sanctuary

The reception was very well. The room was small but very practical with sufficient space. The bathroom was clean but extremely small.The staff was friendly. The price per night was high for the seize of the room. We stayed in Nata three nights. Unfortunately Nata is a very small place and has very limited shopping and eating opportunities. I advice all travellers to do their shopping in Francistown. We enjoyed our stay. As this place was one of the cheapest the prices of accommodation are very high in Nata
