"The ocean was invisible from my room, but we enjoyed the pool"

"Overall it was good, but attention to detail could be better. We are a family of 4 in a double room city view and there were only 2 towels and not enough hangers. We had to ask for a hair dryer even though it was listed. There aren't enough towel bars,very little space to hang things and the shower isn't functional - using it floods the bathroom. Some staff were nice, but others were impatient and not very helpful when we asked for restaurant or sightseeing recommendations. Service room didn't work pretty well, more than 2 hours waiting for a muffin that never came. "

"Sandyport Beach Resort was outstanding. We had a deluxe room /2 Queens with a lagoon view. The room was outstanding, the cleaning staff were fabulous. Can't say enough about the quietness of the resort and the ability to relax. If your looking to stay somewhere away from the chaos of the big resorts then Sandyport is the place for you. Great restaurants in the community conch shack selling outstanding cocktails and food during the day and an easy walk to the main road to catch a bus into downtown Nassau. "
