The resort was nice and updated, and the pools and water park were fun. But it was a constant battle to get seating at the pools if you went down after 7:30am on a given day.
Also, despite appearing to have lots of dining options, there were never desirable reservation times available within a few weeks of our travel date. Although some of the fine dining was probably worth the premium we paid, there were plenty of meals, experiences, items, where they were blatantly ripping you off ($9 bagels, $12 water, frozen hamburgers for $25, $13 mini pringles).
The thing that chapped us the most was that during our stay, the hotel had sold blocks of rooms to high school kids through a company called “grad city”. So for half our trip we had to contend with rowdy and obnoxious drunk 17-18 year olds that were crowding the beach, gym, pools, casino, lounge/dining areas. So the entire property basically became a teenage spring break party - as you can imagine, not the experience we were hoping for a family vacation with kids.
