— HOUSE RULES —
We've got a set of house rules to ensure everyone has a fantastic stay. Failure to follow these might lead to additional charges or, in the worst-case scenario, termination of the reservation without a refund.
📝 Booking Agreement: Please sign the digital rental agreement within 48 hours of booking (or ASAP if you’re arriving in the next 5 days). Failure to do so may lead to cancellation based on the agreed-upon cancel policy. We want to make sure everything’s set for your stay!
🏡 Treat It Like Family: Be a thoughtful guest — imagine it's your favorite aunt and uncle's place. Clean up after yourself and leave things as you found them.
🚫 No Shenanigans: Keep it cool — no drugs, illegal activities, unaccounted-for guests, or parties. Breaking this rule could result in your reservation being terminated without a refund. Let’s not part ways on bad terms.
🚭 No Smoking: If you need to puff, do it in the backyard. No smoking or vaping indoors, in the side walkway area, or on the back patio furniture.
🏘️ Neighborly Vibes: Respect our neighborhood. Keep noise down after dark, and save the party vibes for Broadway. Nashville's quiet hours are 11 pm to 7 am.
🐾 Furry Friends Welcome: Bring up to 2 potty-trained, well-behaved dogs for $25 each per night. Let us know in advance; the fee will be added to your reservation. Dogs may roam off-leash in the fully fenced yard as long as you clean up after them. All furniture must remain pet-free unless you cover it with sheets you bring with you. Our space is for dogs and humans only — no other creatures allowed.
💁🏻♀️ Age and Guests: The primary guest (the one who books) must be 21+, stay the whole time, and be responsible for the group and the home. Our nightly rate covers 2 guests or less. Extra guests (up to our max) are charged at $20 each per night. Final headcount must be confirmed and paid no later than 24 hours prior to arrival. Our max occupancy is firm at 4 guests, and only those listed on the reservation are permitted on the property. No additional visitors for any length of time. Middle TN residents, reach out for approval before making a reservation. Instant bookings by locals are subject to cancellation. Families and children are always welcome, but the home is not child-proofed.
🎉 Festive Decor: Planning to hang decorations? Wall-saver tape is required and all decor must be removed prior to check-out. Any damage to walls, ceilings, or paint will be charged to the guest.
📷 Camera Awareness: Safety and privacy matter! There are 3 actively recording security cameras (in the front, side, and back of the home). There are no cameras or recording devices inside. The house is equipped with an Alexa-enabled bluetooth speaker.
🛠️ Keep Us in the Loop: Accidents happen. Inform us about any breakages or damage so we can address them promptly. We appreciate your honesty.
🧰 Appliances and Repairs: We'll tackle household equipment issues as quickly as possible. If we can't restore an appliance or other equipment to habitable standards (as determined by us), we'll do our best to relocate guests or, if not possible, refund the remainder of the stay. In the rare event this happens, we are not financially responsible for new accommodations.
💼 Liability Matters: We're not responsible for accidents, injuries, illnesses, or the loss of valuables on the premises. Guests assume the risk of any harm arising from their use of the property and take on all liability and expenses to repair or replace things they break.
🥳 No Confetti or Glitter: Seriously. It's a glitter-free zone. (Bet you didn't think we'd need to say that!)
🙄 Eye Roll Disclaimer: If you’re rolling your eyes, just remember: past experiences shaped each of these rules. Let's keep the homesharing vibes strong with mutual trust and respect. Cheers to an awesome stay! 🥂
— RATE NOTES —
Our nightly rate covers 1-2 guests. Additional guests (up to 4 total) are charged at $20 per person per night. Accurate headcount must be confirmed with additional fees paid no later than 24 hours before arrival. Our max occupancy is firm & we cannot accommodate groups larger than 4.
We welcome potty-trained, well-behaved dogs, up to 2 dogs per stay, for a fee of $25 per night per dog. Dogs may roam off-leash in the fully fenced yard (we just ask that you stay on top of their messes). Please let us know ahead of time if you plan to bring pets. (Details in House Rules.)
Guests are required to sign a digital rental agreement within 48 hours of booking (or immediately upon receipt if your arrival is within 5 days) or your reservation is subject to cancellation in accordance with the agreed-upon cancellation policy.
Standard check-in time is 4:00 PM or later, & check-out is 11:00 AM. In some cases it may be possible to arrange in advance for earlier check-in or later check-out for an additional fee.
Guests have private access to the entire 1-bedroom apartment (left side of home). The right side houses a small IT business office during weekday office hours. The business office has exterior security cameras that actively record in the front, side, & back of the house. There are no cameras inside the home. Our 100-year old beauty queen contains remnants of former alarm system devices that have long since gone unused. As removing them would cause further damage to our restored beauty, they’ve been left in place. There are no active alarm, security, or camera devices within the home. There is an Alexa-enabled bluetooth speaker in the living room.
Free street parking is available on our street & on neighboring side streets. Since we’re located in the high-demand Five Points area of East Nashville, street parking in close proximity to the house cannot be guaranteed.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 months while relocating from Hong Kong. The apartment is very charming and in a great location. At night it's quiet, even though you're a short 5 min walk from the heart of 5 points. There are plenty of restaurants & coffee places in walking distance. The apartment had everything we needed for interim housing, and we loved out time there.

Beautiful place. I loved this house, it had a really cool vibe. Wish there was maybe a little more info about the house somehow, like its own little house biography perhaps. :D Parking was mostly available right in front of the house most of the time, which was nice. Neat neighborhood, and it was close to everything I wanted to be close to. Thank you for sharing this jewel with my family, we can't wait to come back.

My wife, pupsn and I stayed here and did not have to drive anywhere for the entire stay. We were a 5-15 minute walk from everything from shopping alleys to music venues and some of the best restaurants in East Nashville. The home is decorated extremely well while also keeping the history of the house alive. It was a wonderful stay and highly recommend it.

I stayed here over Thanksgiving as family lives just a few blocks away. Space is perfectly appointed, and feels comfy cozy and safe. It’s easily walkable to shopping and restaurants. Comms with owner were piece of cake.

In the perfect location to walk to many of East Nashville’s gems. A variety of bars, restaurants and shops are out the front door. If you want to venture further, you’re a short drive to Nashville’s bustling downtown. The house itself is comfortable, cozy and has all the amenities you’d need. We had no trouble finding street parking. We were very happy there and will recommend to anyone going to Nashville.

Couldn't have picked a better vacation rental. East Nashville is 10 minutes from downtown Nashville, 5 minutes from Titans stadium and only minutes walk to East downtown bars and restaurants. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Great host with excellent communication can't beat this location

We loved our stay at the Five Points Jewel! The location is perfect. It was our first time in Nashville and we're so happy we stayed in the East End -- lots to do in easy walking distance, but also a quiet charming neighborhood feel. The house itself was beautiful - clean, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed for a week's stay. Loved that our dogs were allowed. When we had a question for the host they responded immediately. Would definitely stay here again if we're in the area in the future.

This house was gorgeous and lovely. Stocked with paper towels and toilet paper for the entire stay. Kitchen was so cute, dining room was peaceful, and we loved the view from the living room window.
Loft bedroom was great, and quiet at night. Comfy bed.
Nice location to walk the dogs in the neighborhood.
Bathroom towels were fluffy. Great check in process too.
Just wonderful all around!

Beautiful home. All amenities plus some. Good location.
Only con is the stairs ( lots of them) inside the home, very slippery & difficult to bring luggage upstairs. Wouldn’t recommend for young children or elderly.

Nashville is an amazing place. We ate the best food, heard the best music, and the friendliest people we have ever met. The Five Points Jewel is in the best location with it being close to great restaurants, coffee shops and the most charming neighborhood with beautiful homes. It was clean and we felt very safe. Reminded my husband and I of our very first home together. Broadway is crazy fun but glad we stayed in the five point area because at night it was very quiet plus it is just a short Lyft/Uber ride to Broadway and other tourist attractions.

Well appointed property in a very fun, relaxed area of town. Close walking distance to shops, eateries, cafes and bars. Alece is very responsive (within minutes) in quickly answering any and all questions. Tons of towels and the washer/dryer were much appreciated after a wet weathered weekend! We would highly recommend this clean and well managed home for anyone considering a stay in the Music City. Thanks Alece!

Enjoyed the neighborhood and easy walkability to restaurants and shops.
House was nice. Would have enjoyed better seating options to chill and relax in living room. Outdoor area is ok. Could be a lot better with some landscaping and patio area. But it served the purpose for our dog. Alece was super communicative and friendly. We did sit on front porch some as it was unclear if that area was accessible to the Vrbo side. Seemed to be a business and apartment on other side. Overall. Wry. Ice rental.

This was the perfect spot! The house was in an excellent location and super easy to get to downtown Nashville. You can easily walk to restaurants and coffee shops, and it is a short drive to the heart of downtown Nashville. The host was one of the best I have worked with. We will be back!
