This 2100 square foot 1940's bungalow is the perfect respite in the best neighborhood in Nashville. 12 Avenue South is a walkers paradise lined with world class food, drink, and shopping. Gwyneth Paltrow fell in love with the area and so will you! The house has 2 front rooms, a breakfast area, a living room connected to the kitchen, a fantastic deck for grilling and a fire pit! One of the upstairs bedrooms comes with its own private deck. This house is a great destination for traveling families, friend reunions, or business travel!

The house is on a friendly, quiet street in a neighborhood of young families. The back deck and fireplace are awesome additions. I also love having an afternoon cocktail on the porch swing! Kids welcome! We also stock Barista Parlor coffee beans for our guests to brew their coffee with!

The location was perfect. The house was very clean with plenty of room for our party of 5 women, Neal was very responsive when we needed dishwashing liquid. My only suggestion would be to invest in blackout shades for the bedrooms and sturdy shades for the bathroom window. We will hopefully return to this home on our next trip to Nashville.
Neal was very responsive when we had problems with the keyless entry. He came out, replaced the battery and also attended to some other minor items to ensure our stay was perfect. The location in 12 South was ideal!
First, this home is so nicely decorated and perfect for 3 couples. It’s a 5 min walk to 12 South restaurants and shops. We stayed here before and loved it, so we came back - and this time the house was run down quite a bit. Needs a fresh coat of paint (water stains on ceilings, walls banged up), and very limited kitchen supplies.
My girl friends and I decided to come back to Nashville for a college reunion and this was the PERFECT house! It fit all 9 of us perfectly with plenty of space and bathrooms. The neighborhood was lovely and just a short walk to 12 south. We were even able to make the walk to Zanies one night. The house was very clean and had plenty of towels which is always a plus. Would highly recommend to friends and family!
This location was perfect. The house is on a cute and quiet street just two blocks from all the action on 12th Avenue South! We stayed for 10 days and had a great time.
Great older home with lots of room to relax and visit. We traveled with another couple. Plenty of privacy and gathering areas. Perfect distance to walk to 12 South
Family loved the house. It was a couple blocks walk to restaurants and shops. Neal was great answering my questions and check-in was easy. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Nashville.
Visiting Nashville can be hectic, 908 Caruthers provides the perfect place to rest and regenerate while enjoying all Music City has to offer. With comfy beds, plenty of room, and park-like front and back yards, you may just want to stay in and pretend you’re a 12 South Neighborhood resident.
The square footage was more than adequate.The layout of house was nice and roomy for a family. However, the upstairs bedrooms have exceptionally low ceilings obstructing the headspace over the beds. The bed length and ceiling height does not work for anyone whom is at least 6ft tall.Otherwise, this was a great listing with good kitchen, dining and living space as well as a fantastic location.

Some of the sofas and rugs were gross/old with dirt/dust underneath. The sofa bed is two different panels that aren’t attached and didn’t match up so it split apart when sleeping on it. The house looks like the pics but it’s much older than it looks.A few FYIs to next guests: Very little lighting and made the house gloomy at night. The “closed off” room is not private—there is a clear glass door. Pros: lots of towels, clean kitchen, easy check in, responsive host.
Nothing will disappoint with this charming home.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The host {Neal}was quick to respond to questions. Location was great with walking distance to 12th street with restaurants and shops. Neat neighborhood. The house was perfect for a larger group or family with great outdoors. Bedrooms were perfect and fit our family's needs. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely rent again.

This property was a super short Uber to Broadway (under 10 min), but far enough to have a quiet street and a couple nearby food shops that were walkable. Publix nearby. House was clean and perfectly spaced for our group of 6. Oh and the towels were so soft! Plenty of extra towels, bedding, and toiletries. Thank you!
