Stayed at the Marriott for a conference that was held there. The hotel and room was very clean, had everything we needed. Every staff member that we had contact with were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet and drinks at The Stave (the hotel restaurant) were great and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend staying when in the area!

Great Stay!

The room was amazing. Shower and room comfort great. Pillows were little flattened when used not firm enough for my comfort. Would have loved to have microwave to reheat food. Safety is big to me and I felt very safe.

The staff were perfectly friendly and helpful. The facility and indeed the room were as clean as could be. This is just an older building with older facility issues - seemingly low water pressure; the "feel good" extra lock on the door didn't work, with marks showing the for had been forced open a few times (the deadbolt worked just fine); the room, although spotless, just smelled stale; all the electric sockets had no grip pressure left, and plugs fell out of them if looked at wrong. But again, it's an older facility. Never felt unclean, and was a nice place to stay the night.

The rooms were comfortable, we had a fathom toilet. It went off a lot on its own. Hallways were like being in the Arctics. Carpeting in hallways had waves, could easily trip up. Airvents in the hallways were nasty, clogged with dirt. Breakfasts were great, good selections.

Nice hotel in need of TLC and updating

The hotel looks nice when you walk in. But the room could have used some updating. The toilet, which ran off and on all the time, is definitely made for shorter people. I basically had to fall onto it. The sheets were scratchy. And the room was hot at night even though I turned the thermostat way down. When I realized the refrigerator wasn't cold, I had turned it up to make it colder and then I realized it wasn't plugged in hours after I put my food in there. The sink made a very loud high pitched sound when it was turned it on. But, the shower was great. The hotel was nice. The staff was nice. Also, the courtyard is a little depressing. So much could be done with that area.

Not Excellent, but Good.

The stay is what I would say was "Good". The issues are that, the toilet flapper valve needed replacing. It kept filling up after leaking. Which, we would press the flapper down to stop it from leaking. We had to do this three times. We didn't bother with it, when leaving hoping the maid service would notice it, and report it to maintenance. We didn't know if the breakfast was free or there was a charge, therefore, we didn't partake in it. You should put it somewhere more noticeable if it was free or not. Overall, the room was very clean. And the bar was an excellent. It was not excellent, but "Good"
