Fun stay with friends
Property was as described. Not as close to Broadway as I was imagining, but super close to Opry. Host was very helpful. We got in on an earlier flight than we anticipated, and he arranged to allow us to drop off our bags early. A shortage of wine glasses was rectified immediately. The house is in a beautiful, safe neighborhood.

Great property in a quiet safe neighborhood. This is our second visit to Nashville and love staying at this house. John is great to work with and quickly responds to any questions you may have. We are looking forward to visiting again in the future.

Awesome Nashville home
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful Nashville home. It was clean, well kept and in a very quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Close to Grand Ole Opry and short drive to downtown Nashville. Would definitely stay here again!!

Hidden gem
Very clean, well stocked, and in a quiet neighborhood. Its all the things you want in a rental. Felt relaxing and secluded, but we could be downtown in 15 minutes. Great location and great property.

Perfect!
This was our second time staying at this property. The house is perfect! Clean. Private. Peaceful. The location is perfect - 3 minutes from the Grand Ole Opry, Gaylord Opryland Resort, and the mall. We love that you can take back roads to all of these places, as well as many great restaurants. We love the view of the river, and we saw a lot of wildlife, including a group of 6 deer that were saw several times. The home is far enough away from the hustle and bustle to feel like a getaway, yet close to everything you would want to see or do. Fantastic host as well!! He’s very friendly and responsive and truly wants you to relax and enjoy your stay.

Lots to Sing About!
Like all the other reviews have described, this house is both perfectly located and perfectly equipped. We girls felt safe and had an easy time coming and going to the Opryland area, Broadway, and even a day trip to Franklin, TN. John was prompt to reply during the booking process and made our Nashville experience more cozy by sharing this cottage. (The only thing I forgot to bring - and couldnt find in the kitchen - was Spray Pam for the pans, so I bought a can and left it for the next guests. You'll find everything else there!!)

We loved Cumberland Cottage
We loved the location Only 7 or 8 minutes to the Opry Mills Mall, Opryland, and many restaurants. The house is so cozy and has everything you need. We loved how all the bedrooms were close together, because we had smaller children. I messaged John several times with questions, he responded very fast and answered all my questions and offered some other tips as well. Everyone un the neighborhood was very friendly. We were in Nashville for the weekend to visit our son. We look forward to staying again at Cumberland Cottage!

This house was great. Having 2 king and a queen very comfortable beds made this house so comfortable for a group of adults. There were plenty of towels and toiletries for our stay. I had a question and got an immediate response! Very convenient to the Grand Ole Opry and a quick drive to Broadway. Thanks for a great stay!

This house has everything you need for a fun, relaxing trip to Nashville. Very conveniently located to shopping, the Opry and restaurants. A short ride and you were in downtown Nashville. The fenced back yard was perfect for our Boston Terrier; she was able to run around and be off her leash. We would love to stay again for our next Nashville trip!

Location was great for us, and so quiet! The place is done up nicely inside. The floors are a bit creaky and as others mentioned the deck could be beautiful if refurbished, but neither of these things would deter us from a repeat stop here. We are always grateful to find a nice place that others are kind enough to share with us, and this was one of those.

2nd VRBO in Opryland we've stayed at under the same host who was great to communicate with when making reservations. The house has a comfy, relaxing feel to it with beautiful decor. Perfect to come back to at the end of a busy downtown Nashville day.

Perfect!
The Cumberland cottage is the ideal place to stay for peaceful comfort, that's just a few minutes drive to all the Music City main attractions. The house is equipped with all the comforts of home, with comfortable beds, good hot showers, and plenty of options to hang-out and relax indoors or out. It's nestled in a picturesque location with the Cumberland River in view, and quiet and respectful residents in nearby properties. You'll feel like you're staying in the country, yet are only a short drive away from the Grand Ole Opry, Scoreboard Bar & Grill, Nashville Palace, Opry Mills Mall and plenty of choices for great food. As a bonus, you get whole house at a fraction of the cost of downtown hotels and other rentals. The property owner, John was awesome to deal with and made our reservation, check-in, and stay a breeze. We'll definitely be checking availability of this property for future visits to Nashville!

Quiet neighborhood on Cumberland River
Beautiful property located in quiet neighborhood. 10-15 min drive from downtown. Opryland, shopping and restaurants near. Owner was very easy to work with. We had no issues with the property during our stay. I would definitely return.

The deer are not afraid. Great for any conference near Gaylord Opryland
The house was great! We had close encounters with the deer which made it beautiful! Close to the Gaylord Opryland Hotel which made it easy and convenient to get to and from our conference with NO traffic. Plenty of options to eat. Most of the floors squeezed but I would still stay there again. In fact I would recommend this to anyone.

We were in Nashville for a family birthday celebration (my aunt turned 80!), so I stayed there with my husband, son, mother and sister. This house was perfect for the 5 of us, and the location was perfect!

I have stayed a-lot of places and I just have to say this place was amazing and was perfect..the setup and layout was perfect. Great neighborhood..home was clean and efficient and had everything and anything we needed. The owner was very in tune and very responsive to what we needed if we need anything. Definitely plan to visit and rent again! Price was right!

Property description was accurate. House was comfortable, well furnished and kitchen was adequately appointed. Only minor negative was the outdoor deck area in back. It definitely could use some attention and a bit of an upgrade. That however didn't detract from our stay just a suggestion for the owner. Would definitely rent this property again.

Quiet Getaway
Located on a quiet street. Fenced in backyard for pets. Floors in the house do creak when you walk on them. I had to get something to drink from the kitchen in the middle of the night and did wake up my partner and another guest in one of the other bedrooms due to the floors creaking.

Comfy Family Getaway
We enjoyed our stay in this quiet neighborhood. The drive downtown is a quick 20 minutes. John came right away to the house to fix an issue with the door and there were no more problems after that! The floors are quite creaky(noisy), it didn’t bother us too much but something to keep in mind if there’s an early riser or kids in your group. Kitchen was well equipped and the back yard was handy for the dog. We would stay here again!

What a perfect property. There were 5 adults and the house and location were great. Nice quiet neighborhood, easy in and out, super close to restaurants and minutes to the Opry Mills Mall. Uber to Broadway was convenient. Beds were comfortable, soft sheets (thank you!) plenty of towels in each bathroom, and ceiling fans and TVs in every room. What a great 5 days!!

This house was absolutely perfect. We rented this spot for our mom and grandma for Mother's Day. Convenient to LITERALLY everything. Was equipped with everything we could've possibly needed plus more. Sits in a beautiful, quiet and safe neighborhood. Deer were out everywhere just walking around. Good view of the river out front. We will definitely be renting this house again!! Not to mention, the owner let us check in a day early which was awesome!!

The cummberland cottage was one of the most equipped houses I have ever stayed in. It was the perfect layout for all of us. It was incredibly clean, and John was a wonderful host! The location was just terrific with its peaceful surroundings, and just an uber ride to Broadway. I hope to be back!
