Prepare to be amazed when you walk through the door! The view of Cedar Lake is unsurpassed! Relax in our brand-new, 8-person hot tub overlooking the lake. This Lakeside Get-A-Way is newly remodeled and ready for memories to be made. Use the included kayaks to enjoy the abundant wildlife. Sip your morning coffee on our large covered deck or play a card game with friends at our poker table. Roast marshmallows at the fire ring or play a round of bean bags in the yard. Swim, sunbathe or build sand castles on your own private beach, which is steps away from your back door. This fun sandy area is sunny during cool mornings and shaded during hot afternoons. Your children will be able to swim in this area without the worry of a fast-moving current. Enjoy delicious meals from our Traeger grill or in our kitchen that is stocked with all of your essentials. We have 3 bikes, including a child pull-along trailer that converts into a jogger. The three-sided gas fireplace will keep you warm on cool evenings. Bring your fishing poles to cast a line off of our dock. Wake up to gorgeous lake views from your comfortable bed. The house is all on one level with plenty of space to spread out and move around easily. Enjoy the peace of the hot tub during rain, snow or shine! Since the hot tub is located under a covered deck, you get the benefits of being outdoors with the protection of being covered! Lakeshore Park is within walking distance and features a 1-mile walking trail. The public park provides a picnic shelter, gazebo, beach, boat ramp/dock and a charcoal grill. End a hot summer day with ice cream from the local Dairy Treat. Take the little ones to the free public splash pad. Enjoy being immersed in nature with the convenience of being in town. You will relax and enjoy your stay at our fully furnished lakeside cabin!

Relaxing Weekend!!

The entire property was amazing! We had a wonderful time relaxing with the hot tub and hanging out in the house. I highly recommend the place amd the owners were extremely helpful with any questions/concerns.

A Slice of Heaven, Great Layout, Great Host

Wow, fantastic view, lots of glass on the lake side. The photos on VRBO well represent the property. Great and prompt communication with the Host, lives nearby. Spacious Great Room, multiple internet TV’s in different locations, kitchen well set up with space for several to be working on dinner at the sams timd. Percect for a 5 or 6 posdaon Quilt Retrear.

Beautiful relaxing place to stay!!!

We absolutely loved our trip. The cabin was very very clean and had lots of space. We played family games at the game table, had coffee while enjoying the view of the lake and even saw fish jumping. We really enjoyed the hot tub and at night it was literally magical with fireflies sparkling in the tree above. There was so much to do in the surrounding areas, we made many family memories and look forward to coming back!!

Wonderful Lake House!

Stayed with my mother, sister, niece, daughter and grandson at this house and had a great time! Weather wasn’t the best but enjoyed playing games and visiting in the large great room area with the beautiful view! Had everything we needed for a fun weekend and would love to come back and stay again!

Nice getaway

Great place to get away for a couple of days on the lake! The property was well kept with a great view from the house and a spacious covered deck that we spent a lot of our time relaxing on. We would highly recommend it!

Family weekend

Overall a good weekend get away, property was clean and spacious. Really appreciated the NFL Sunday ticket (we’re a football family). I wish the fishing was better but still had fun trying. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Perfect getaway!

We were so pleased with this getaway! We were looking for something within driving distance from Cedar Rapids to spend a weekend with our grandchildren ages 5, 8 and 9. We loved the views of the lake, the nearby parks, friendly neighbors and this home had more amenities than we expected. We plan to visit again!

It was a wonderful long weekend

It was easy to get to, and easy to go to anywhere we wanted. Clean and tidy = hot tub was great. Good to sit on the deck and watch the lake & relax. Everything we wanted or needed for meals was there. Enjoyed our time there. It is a large place inside so maybe best for a group [it was just us] but wasn't a problem at all.

Beautiful little getaway

Really enjoyed our weekend in Nashua! Although the floor plan is a bit unique it worked great for our group of 4 Adults and two children ages 14 and 12. Really enjoyed the hot tub and fishing was a blast!! Mostly catfish, but fun to reel in and toss back! Had s’mores by the fire and some great meals! The view is breathtaking so enjoyed watching the wildlife and nature! Highly recommend!

Weekend Visit

The place has open space, a beautiful deck overlooking the lake, awesome hot tub and enough sleeping space for all 8 of use. Having a kitchen helps since there are very few restaurants within Nashua. The second bathroom is not as private but having it helps. We didn’t use the bikes but plenty of ancillary items to help enjoy your stay

Amazing Fishing

There were 4 adults and 4 kids (ages 7-11). The house fit us great. Living area is open with Tommy for the kids to play. View from back deck was 10/10. Hot tub function perfect. Had an amazing time and made wonderful memories!!

Fun Time in Nashua

Went with five other women for a girl's weekend. Nice location on the water. Loved the hot tub. The room that sleeps four would not be comfortable for two couples. It was clean and the host is very informative. Would go there again. Thanks!

Great escape from reality

Everything was perfect. The location was easy to find and close to everything. Sunset was amazing and could even be viewed from the hot tub. Having the bikes and kayaks there to use was very nice to do some local exploring. We even played poker one night. The kitchen was well supplied. It was a perfect couple days away. If given the opportunity, I’d stay again!

Peaceful

Very peaceful area and nice getaway for a couple looking to relax and get away from the hustle of the city. My only recommendation would be to have the grill set up in the preferred location for use as it is difficult to move due to the size and weight. Everything else was perfect for us.

Amazing Property Right on the Lake!

We had 5 adults and 2 children and 1 toddler. The house was absolutely perfect. Andy was very timely at responding to my questions. We enjoyed breakfast on the amazing patio overlooking the lake each day. The house was very clean and exactly how it was explained on the listing. My family is from Nashua/Charles City and we try to go back multiple times a year and this house allowed us to be the most comfortable of all the trips we've taken with our daughter to Iowa. We will absolutely try to book this property again soon!!!

Relaxing spot for a Girls' Weekend

We enjoyed this property very much! We did lots of cooking and the kitchen was well supplied. We walked to the nearby park trail. The hot tub was great. We ate brunch at Klunder's Kafe at the host's recommendation. The view was beautiful and peaceful. Fabulous wall of windows looking out over the lake. To be clear, one of the trundle beds is tucked away in a corner of the main living space, rather than in the bedroom. The bonus for me is that I had a room to myself with a queen bed and an amazing view. My 3 daughters used the Queen and trundle bed in the big bedroom. It worked out great for us.
