We were treated great while staying there. I made a last minute change to when we would meet for breakfast and they took care of it. We were only passing by so I can't say much about the area. The building is older so don't expect 4 or 5 star amenities. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower had great pressure. It was perfect for our needs. You're also a few steps from the car rental (Enterprise), the train, and about 4 blocks from the bus station.

Pleasant hotel with free parking. Excellent value. A short walk (2 minutes) to the train station, and a 10 minute walk to the major sites.

Will's Hotel is not in Arcachon Near Atlantic ocean but in Narbonne Near the méditerranée beach. Many people does not remember where they have slept !!!!

Small family hotel near train station
The hotel is conveniently located near the train station. Like many smaller hotels, it is an older building. The staff is friendly and the lobby has some charm. My room was small and the restroom is very small. The toilet is nothing for anyone taller than 6'2". Your knees will hit the wall. The width is also limited, so not necessarily something for a heavy set person. Still if you need a (short) bed to sleep for a night with a decent breakfast, the place is not bad. It is in walking distance to the old town. Quiet.

Clean, friendly and convenient hotel that is good for a short a stay in Narbonne before or after a canal cruise. Staff is very accommodating.

Handy for the train station
Just stayed overnight, a little dated but very clean, spotless bathroom, comfortable bed. Didn't have breakfast as we had an early start, great if you are using the train station a 5 minute walk,

First visit to Narbonne
The hotel felt a bit like a boarding house, but the room was very spacious and quiet. We paid on arrival and the room wasn't serviced very much during our 3 day stay but we were left in peace which was lovely!

Suffers in comparison to other local choices.
This visit didn't start well, nor was it a great experience. While the location is convenient, just a short walk from the rail station, the hours of operation are quirky, meaning you might not be able to check in if you arrive in mid-afternoon. The building seemed dark and dingy with narrow, convoluted hallways, small rooms, peculiar light switches, less than inviting overall. On the plus side, the bathroom had been remodeled and was quite nice. By comparison, a few blocks away is Le Residence, much cleaner, brighter, more attractive and friendlier, at a slightly higher price. Given the choice, I would opt to stay elsewhere than at Will's.

Another night - another hotel
We were greeted by the very friendly manager who checked us in without delay. The only problem was for we seniors to struggle up the spiral stone staircase with our luggage. After the rest of the day sightseeing we slept well as the whole place was very quiet. We went down to an excellent (included in tariff) breakfast which was the opposite of what we had become used to since commencing our travels.

Sewer smell
So my husband got to the room and came down to help me bring laundry up, he said the room had a funny smell. I go up and it did. It wasn't mold, more like a sewer smell. So on closer inspection the shower drain had a towel over it, and the was a plug on the drain in the sink. Apparently this was an on-going issue and they knew about it. We aired out the room and kept everything plugged. Pretty much once water was ran through the pipes the smell was gone. Either way if we weren't so darn tired and hadn't already paid for the hotel we would have found somewhere else. The room otherwise was fine, and it was located 5min from cafés and down town. Maybe that issue will be fixed before you stay in that hotel.

charming hotel in a quiet location
friendly staff, comfortable room in a charming hotel situated in a quiet location close to the station, and a short walk from the historical part of town. Note the front door is closed at lunchtime- no checking in early! ( once checked in you have access to a side door anytime)

Pleasant overnight break from the train
Close to train station. Staff were very welcoming, making you feel at home. Room was comfortable and shower hot. Everything that was required for an overnight stop over.

Convenient access to Train
Very comfortable and the owners couldn't be nicer. Room was big enough to spread out and comfortable. Very short walk to the train making it very convenient. Only "con" was that the shower was very small. Definitely would stay again if business brings me to Narbonne.

Large enough room but a few problems.
Narbonne is not a touristy enough place in reality.Some work being done along the canal du midi in the centre of town will help its appearance but certainly not enough for more than a three hour walk around.Market Hall is special and plan your over priced eating there. We found it difficult to get restraunts that were open after 7pm.Pizza and keebab is hardly French cuisine.Far too many limitations or shops shut at 7pm.Timing of staff at management is limited but they did allow us to drop our cases off whilst they shut down at 12 noon. Nice TV. Decent breakfast.If you have made the mistake of booking too much time then get the very limited bus to Gruissan and also make sure you watch the timetables carefully or you will get stranded there with no taxis in that resort. It is well worth the visit.

Hôtel extrêmement bien situé, à 2 minutes de la gare (on la voit de l'hôtel!) et 10 minutes du centre ville (mairie) à pied. Très bonne réception avec grande gentillesse. Petits déjeuners parfait. J'y reviendrai!
