"複数家族で利用しました。一棟貸しとのことで、急な人数変更でも料金の変更がないので安心して予約できました。またオープンな環境に見えてプライバシーが守られているので、ホテルなどで雑魚寝するよりよっぽど睡眠の質はあがります。各スペースにコンセントがあるのもかなり助かりました。洗面3つ、シャワールーム2つ、男女混合の14名で利用させていただきましたが申し分ない設備でした。駅やコンビニ、パーキング、大型スーパー、飲食店等も近くにありました。人数も多かった為Wi-Fiが繋がりにくい時がありましたが、ボードゲームなども充実しておりデジタルデトックスできたので逆に良かったです。また是非利用したいです！"

"This hostel is definitely one of the better ones that have just been renovated. One of the biggest perks is having a shared bathroom but having a private toilet room and private shower room as well as separate men and women bathrooms. Upon our arrival around 10pm, the front desk clerk was very helpful and informed us of how to get in when the front desk has closed. They were extremely helpful in getting us checked in, giving us the wifi pw, etc. The room itself was small but it was to be...

"Stat 100%dry: the underground route to Dotonbori. If you want to head to Dotonbori without worrying about rain, your best bet is staying near Namba Station (Nankai, Midosuji Line, or JR Namba) and walking through Namba Walk. It is a massive, air-conditioned underground shopping avenue spanning over 700 meters. Packed with casual eateries, ramen spots, bakeries, cafes, fashion boutiques, and souvenir shops. Walk straight under the streets with zero rain, then pop up right near the covered arcades leading into Dotonbori.- USE THE ELEVATOR ACCESS OUTSIDE HOTEL AND U WILL SEE FAMILY MART LEFT TURN ROUTE TO UNDERGROUND NAMBA WALK"

The Royal Park Hotel Iconic Osaka Midosuji

10/10 Excellent

"3 night stay while visiting Osaka and the Himeji Castle. Hotel starts on the 15th floor where lobby and registration are. Below is all business offices. Above is the hotel. We stayed on the 14th floor as did our travel companions, one floor below the executive lounge. Great views out over the city. Room was well appointed, but could have been bigger. Two twin beds shoved together to make a "super king" but with separate bedding, took up most of room. All the expected ammenities were available, but no decaff coffee available in the room. In this era, it should be a given. Nice bathroom with good sink counter space and a nice walk-in shower/tub room. Good water pressure, good air conditioning and a separate dehumidifier unit in room. Staff were all courteous, friendly and helpful. There was a self-service combined washer-dryer laundry on our floor (almost missed it). Inexpensive. Total cost for a whole load = cost of one or two shirts sent off in hotel laundry service. Executive lounge was excellent. Evening cocktails and appetizers. Morning breakfast buffet was great - both traditional Japanese and western offerings. On the ground floor, always taxi's waiting for easy access to city sights. Would stay here again if in Osaka."

"Buffet breakfast was on the colder side (for instance, the grilled mackerel was not hot enough), but the udon was very good- we had 2 servings - and the pastries with whipped butter and marmalade were yummy. The Japanese breakfast served in the cozy restaurant on the basement floor was very good - its tofu simmering in soy milk broth which could be enjoyed to the last drop was very interesting as it was our first encounter with this dish (gotta wait 5 minutes (for the tofu to be ready), said the staff) and needless to say, it was oishi! There’s a water dispenser outside the rooms, you might need to walk a long way depending on where your room is. Everything was new, even the cups and glasses smelled like they just came out of their boxes. So washing before use is needed😉 We stayed in a twin room with additional bed (sofa bed), so space for opening 3 medium size luggages was limited. Check-in machines that generated card keys on the spot was cool. We paid the 1200-yen per head of hotel tax in cash. Staff can speak English, so we could understand each other. 😊"
