"Would rate higher, but I reserved a room with two beds and all they had when I showed up was a single bed. Made it work and it was a good enough room. However, the excuse of we didn’t clean enough rooms doesn’t set well with me."

"Room was not clean at all, there was food in the corners and smelled musty. Bathroom was moldy. However, the sheets were clean and bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. "

"To start, the room was very clean. The property is well maintained and looks like a great venue for a wedding or event. Our room was on the first floor, and we had to navigate through two banquet style rooms to get there. The contactless entry info was not provided in a timely manner, and we had to call staff to be let in. There is no staff on site, that i could see. Our room was equipped with a coffee maker and local coffee, and nice linens. The decor was nice and the room was clean but the bed was uncomfortably hard. Like sleeping on cardboard on the floor hard. My wife and I both woke up sore and really didnt sleep much. It was hard to block out the light from the city, and the pictures of the views on the website did not match the views from our window. They had not updated thier clocks since time change so we were an hour late for our plans that morning. I would say that this is a nice building with alot of possible uses but the contactless hotel leaves something to be desired. Some more attention to details or addition of some actual staff may help. "

"There was no lounge to just relax in space. The only seating in the common area was table with hard chairs for breakfast. The room had one stuffed chair that was decent and one desk chair that was not. Breakfast was good and everything was clean."

"Another great trip (#5 for our family here)!! Again, the house and property were ready for our arrival. Plenty of supplies, towels, and firewood. We loved watching the birds come up to the feeders on the porch, listening to several types of woodpeckers, and hearing the turkeys down the hill. Even saw a deer as we were getting ready to leave. The huge yard and firepit out back are always a big hit for us. And we used the Blackstone at least 2 meals a day . Beautiful views of the sky and stars. Also, hit up Country Creations for some delicious pies. Only a few miles from the cabin. Jackie is a great host and we look forward to more trips in the future. "

"We had a last minute emergency and they were willing to work with us as we had pre paid for the stay. Incredible hosts! I would highly recomend and I am looking forward to staying at this property the next time we are in the area!"

"Location, scenic view from back yard, ease of check in, and cute-factor of the building were high notes. Their was a rather serious lady bug infestation while we stayed. "
