Adequate but not really holiday suitable for us

Oh dear. The recent multiple reviews of 8/10 and10/10 that encouraged us to book must be of a completely different hotel. Nice reception person. Efficient. No parking. Great local trains, trams and busses in the Gariboldi district where situated. Taxis available. The hotel has floor 6 and 7 of a residential apartment block accessed by its own lift serving Ground, 6 and 7. Check in more than acceptable. Our room was on the 7th floor. Walking in disappointing. Tight en-suite, broken toilet seat, door sticking on floor at just under half way open, very basic amenities. Reasonably clean but a few areas of concern. No kettle or cups. Fridge useful. Balcony doors opened up to a balcony larger than the room looking out over the town with Vesuvius in distance. Nice. Bed basic. Aircon good. Next door was staff area balcony? I always walk the means of escape. Glad I did because in emergency we would have been completely confused. Not up to UK standards and would fail our inspections. No signage assisting way out, storage blocking part of route and open to the residential parts of building which gave access from residents or anyone else from there to the hotel floors. Restaurant not available except for breakfast but we left before opened. Area quite cosmopolitan. Lots of street sleepers as in many of the worlds cities. Night Reception staff in morning again efficient and good, helpful. So: basic, nice view, probably not secure, adequate for functional stay but not for a holiday.

L'hotel è in centro e vicino alla stazione ferroviaria e a quella della metro. Il personale è gentile e disponibile e la camera pulita. La colazione non offre grandissima varietà di cose, ma a sufficiente. L'aria condizionata crea un ambiente confortevole dalla calura estiva. Purtroppo ho tre lamentele da fare. La prima è il baccano causato da altri ospiti che alle 11 di sera parlavano a gran voce nei corridoio, con i bambini che correvano gridando come se fossero a casa. La seconda riguarda ancora il rumore, causato però da qualcuno che sembrava usare un frullatore o una sorta di trapano, sempre alle 11 di sera. La terza cosa riguarda invece il bidet che buttava fuori solo acqua bollente. Impossibile lavarsi senza ustionarsi.

J' ai réservé via un site. Je devais y séjourner 1 nuit avec mes 2 petites filles Sur place comme je n'avais que les photos de mes petites filles mais pas l original on ne m'a pas autorisé l entrée. Il était 22h30 Nous avons donc rechercher un autre hôtel qui nous a accepté. Et forcément aucun remboursement

Das Personal der reception war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich hatte ein Doppelzimmer gebucht und bezahlt. Wenn mich Freunde abholen kommen wollten wurde das untersagt oder ich solle dafür extra zahlen. Warum auch immer. Zum Abholen kommen und 5 Minuten Aufenthslt in meinem Zimmer bis ich fertig war einen Aufpreis zahlen? Never. Lage: am Bahnhof und netto gelegen. Umgebung jedoch nicht unbedingt die beste in Neapel.

Alcune cose da cambiare.

Albergo adiacente alla stazione treni e metro. Quindi fuori bisogna fare attenzione soprattutto la sera, come ovunque vicino alle stazioni. Camera, spaziosa, grande pecca la finestra dava su un corridoio dell'albergo e quindi nessuna luce o areazione esterna, quindi grande senso di claustrofobia. Colazione abbondante e personale gentile. Da migliorare peró, ad esempio, dopo aver fatto una segnalazione per celiachia, non si possono portare al cliente delle confezioni di biscotti aperte e smezzate già utilizzate da altri. Rubinetteria del bagno, acciaio rovinato dai detergenti e quindi sembra, vecchio, ma in realtà tutta la camera era pulita. Fatto notare un problema con un asciugamano e gentilmente dalla reception hanno provveduto subito. Pertanto con delle accortezze il servizio può essere notevolmente migliore.
