The location was excellent, close to the historic part of Napoli and the train station. You can walk anywhere around the city centre! The staff were excellent, we had everything we needed, it was clean and comfortable. We were very pleased

The accommodations were great. The staff was very friendly. The location is in the middle of everything. Several dining options close by. The room was very clean and the staff was attentive.

Rooms exactly like pictures, clean and simple. Beds were somewhat uncomfortable but okay. Staff very eager to please. Enjoyed overall.

Great location, uncomfortable bed. Check in wasn’t overly easy, they refused to take American Express for the tourist tax. Front desk wasn’t the easiest to work with, customer service obviously means something different there.

They had advertised that there was air conditioning but failed to inform us that it is not active all year. As a result, we had to open the windows in the evening which allowed mosquitos/bugs to come in the room and it was also very noisy which made it difficult to sleep

Great location and property if you are wanting to be in the middle of busy city life. Spacious and friendly. Great communication and they met us at the door within 5 minutes of arriving.

Great stay
We booked this apartment for one night as had been staying in sorrento and our flight was next day from naples airport. Very clean comfortable and great location for shops and restaurants. The owners kept in touch and were there to greet us at apartment. They also organised our taxi to the airport. The apartment was very clean and had a lovely bathroom with walk in shower.

Cheap option in covenient centre, across road from San Michele pizzeria. The window towards outside doesn’t close properly so sound gets in very easily. Shower head water sprays everywhere. Internet slow. Staff friendly enough. Doesn’t really speak English.

The property is located inside a building off of a busy street. Staff informed my ahead of time the building was under renovation and that the balcony would not be accessible. Upon arrival, staff were very pleasant and communicative. A staff member was present each of the three days I was there. Overall, I would stay again because the location was perfect for getting to the train station easily, access to fresh fruit market, and several restaurants. Everything worked well except for the shower head that sprayed water out onto the bathroom floor. Coffee pods were available outside the room. I was told breakfast was not available due to COVID.

Never Again
Thank goodness we only stayed one night. On a positive note, the room was close to public transportation, was located across the street from a famous pizza place, and the host reached out to us prior to our visit to coordinate our stay. That's where our good experience ends. One of the reasons we chose this place was because of the outdoor seating on a private balcony. We arrived only to find the building wrapped in scaffolding which blocked the balcony and construction debris was everywhere. Outside the building we found cockroaches scampering from the building. That convenient location I mentioned also included quick access to the red light district where hookers were offering their services and another nearby road where even my husband said he wouldnt enter. Bums, drug dealers, drunks, and police officers were everywhere. Very sketchy. The host was no where to be found after check in. There was no air conditioning. There was no breakfast either because of Covid, a practice which the rest of the city and world for that matter seems to have figured it out at this point. The transfer the hotel coordinated for us from the train station cost us 25 euro to go about 1 mile. As a host, they have a responsibility to protect their guests from rip offs. Needless to say, we wouldnt stay there again. The best part of the stay was the fast drying blow dryer.

Horrible.
Horrible. Never got an arrival instruction email. There is no sign to the hotel. Asked a restaurant nearby & they helped ring the bell on the wall, it had an extremely small faded sign along with other tenant names. No one opened the door, kept ringing, nothing. Called their phone number nothing. Finally followed a delivery guy into the complex and again, no sign or instructions on how to get to the B&B. Staircase on the left and right, no idea where to go. Called the phone number again. Nothing. After some time a guy walks into the lobby and looks at our staircase & asks check in Durmi? Followed him up to the 2nd floor on the lift on the left. Got the keys but wasn't given any info regarding check out & breakfast. Room is dim, scratch marks along the wall, painting has fallen down & placed in a corner. Toilet flush broken. Sink drain broken & doesn't move when I adjust the switch behind faucet. Shower handle broke off when I tried to adjust it, overhead shower is 80% blocked & leaking. Shower door can't be closed properly, so the floor is all wet. WiFi very slow. Room was warm at 26c. Aircon wasn't working. I whatsapped their number and someone said they'll fix the ac. They didn't. Other WhatsApp number, no one responded but blue ticks. Was told to get the Fan in the lobby. They emailed me that there is construction work, I asked what time work begins, told me 9am, few hours after the free cancellation. Drilling & hammering started at 0740. Considered to leave early.

Only there for one night. Good: Directly across the street from one of the best (if not the best) pizzerias in all of Naples - L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele. Walking distance from a lot of other great restaurants and cafes, as well as from the main train station and airport bus stop. Not so good: building looks abandoned, door buzzer doesn't work, if we hadn't been able to track someone down inside the building to help us I don't know how we would have found the apartment. Also, if we'd arrived after hours when the main door to the building was locked, I don't know how we would have gotten in. Building facade was also under repair when we arrived, couldn't use the balcony. Bathroom had an unpleasant smell.

There was construction work done outside when we got there so we couldn't enjoy the balcony as the pictures would depict. We couldn't also open too much the windows since the construction workers were just outside, and the room would be a bit stuffy because of it. They also work early so if you are not an early birdy, it could be a bit annoying to be waken up by them screaming outside. The room was very clean though, they also had a common area where you can use the fridge and the laundry machine. That was very practical! I would have liked to have some hooks in the bathroom to hang the towels though. We were just outside that pizza place that has a Michelin star (L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele). So if you saw Eat Pray Love with Julia Roberts, you'll recognize the place! Overall, it's a good location!

Happy 3 Nights at Hotel A Durmi
Antonio made us feel very welcome and gave us lots of tips on travelling around the area. Room very clean and spacious. Fantastic bathroom. Kitchenette facilities available but we didn't use these. Didn't hear any street noise. Couple of restaurants below. Good location.

Great for solo travelers
This place is conveniently located and within walking distance of many points of interest. It is not a conventional hotel. It is an apartment building where some units have been turned into Airbnb type accommodations. That being said, the building is very secure and quiet. There are restaurants right outside of the building. The host (Antonio) was incredibly helpful and pleasant.

Great place to stay to wander around On Naples
The B&B is a great place to stay in Naples centre, close to historic centre and to piazza garibaldi. Antonio and Francesca were helpful and communication was straightforward. Antonio replies immediately to queries. Good breakfast. Safe environment though lots of people roaming around but understandable as it’s close to the Naples train station.

The great part of this property is the location. Very near to the train station and local markets. However, the building is old and the room smells like bread all day. The kitchen are not tidy enough.

Convenient location right across from Pizzeria da Michele, one of the pizza places you’ll want to try while in Naples. Walkable from train station with luggage. Clean and comfortable room with modern shower, but in a pretty run down building (I think this true of most of Naples, however.) A little confusing to find at first since it’s locsted within a larger building, but makes sense once you’re there. Pleasant staff. Only has a few rooms, and has an Air B&B feel.

As usual with urban B&Bs, there was no staff available most of the time. The antique door locks they use are excessively complicated, and can be quite bewildering to non-Italian travelers. I wasted some twenty minutes the first time I tried to open the front door on my own, and there was no one around who would help.

Lovely three days in central Napoli

Excellent stay. Very helpful staff, clean room and brilliant location. We had issues with our flight as it was booked through Thomas Cook and we ended up losing a day. The hotel didn’t charge us for the missed night even though I was full expecting and willing to pay for the entire stay as booked. A wonderfully kind gesture.
