We’ve stayed at Swiss Belboutique several times now but I’m afraid we won’t be back. It’s simply getting the basics wrong. Room did not smell great (stale and musty), no plates or cutlery (aside from a couple of teaspoons), issues with hot water (or lack of it), being chased out of the room pretty much dead on check out time. Nothing 5 star about this. The one thing I will say is that you could see that all thre staff were trying their best (housekeeping were lovely). Maybe understaffed? Not sure but sorry guys, you’ve definitely lost a regular customer.

Lovely clean hotel. Staff friendly. Occasionally could hear water running in pipes but did not affect stay or sleep. Highly recommend staying here.

A lot of noise heard from the roof, maybe birds. Also the telephone kept lighting up for some reason. Otherwise the room was fantastic. Great decor, plenty of space and the pillows were like clouds. A wonderful stay. Will definitely be back.

Only thing I did not like was the room wasn't clean enough was a bit smelling when we entered and there wasn't any plates or cutlery otherwise everything was fine.

Spoons were dirty in the kitchenette area, foh staff not as helpful, when we checked in the person behind the reception was busy talking to his family or friend in a different language in his AirPod. This morning some lady behind the reception was not that helpful when checking out. On the plus side, rooms were great and looked amazing. Restaurant staff were pretty good , just a suggestion - they need hashbrowns in the breakfast menu !

The sink in the bathroom was not very functional and kept spilling water outside the sink. We ended up using the sink in the room instead because it was so badly designed. Room at night was loud and location of hotel was not great. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good.

Good stop over in Napier
This hotel is on the south edge of downtown. Room was quiet, bigger than expected and had a handicap access bathroom. In-room Coffee service was superior. Staff were friendly and helpful (including housekeeping).

We really enjoyed our stay at this property, the room was well styled, very modern and clean. The bed was very comfortable and we felt at home. The carpark is quite tight if you have a larger car but you are made aware of that in their information. We were able to park up and walk everywhere needed so this was not a problem. Short walk into town and to the beach, across the road from a supermarket. We would definately stay again.

Great stay for a great place. Comfy beds and very clean room. Only problem was an annoying noise at night sounded like air vents or water? Not a big issue though when you have ear plugs.
