Ahuriri is a small boutique village 5 minues drive from the Napier CBD. East Pier in Ahuriri offers a lovely location with the rooms having ocean views with free on site parking. Studio room was spacious and the bed so comfortable. On site restaurant is ideal for those who dont want to venture out for all their meals. There are plenty of good restaurants, cafes and bars in walking distance of East Pier or you can drive into the CBD (5 minutes) if preferred or to one of the many wineries around the district. Check-in and check-out was easy. Staff were friendly and helpful. On site storage for bikes was ideal for us, as were the handy bikes trails.

Second time staying & I cant fault the place. Will be a go to everytime we stay in the Hawke’s Bay now. Love the location, is very handy with a 2 year old, is a safe place away from the road and beach is literally right there.

The room was very comfortable and very quiet. Restaurant and bar staff were extremely friendly and helpful, unfortunately I didn’t like that it was a sports bar setting and the meals were limited in selection and some dishes seemed a little pricey.

Great stay in Napier

All round excellent experience in Napier. Warm welcome from owner who runs a great hotel on the seafront. Spotlessly clean with spacious sea facing rooms. Close to some excellent restaurants and within a short walk to the Art Deco city centre

Modern, attractive accommodation in an excellent location right next to the sea. Lovely views and fast access to walking/cycling trails. Rooms are clean and attractive. All have a balcony. We did not eat at the hotel as there are many good, local options. It is a good price point and works well for visiting area attractions if you have a car.
