Very happy guests.
The hotel was easy to find, 2 entrances, well sign posted. Check in was quick and easy. The host was very friendly. Room had parking right outside. We were so impressed with the room. It was spacious, bright and clean. It was so well thought out. The bathroom was large with both shower and spa bath. Plenty of towels and toiletries. The perfect family room.

Albatross Motor Hotel switch
Because of a Problem at the Rocks Motor Hotel we were checked into the Albatross Motor Hotel a few doors from our original booking. The Albatross Motor Hotel proved to be an excellent substitute so very happy with the action taken and our stay in Napier.

The room was perfect for our overnight in Napier. Check in was a breeze. The bathroom was quite large with a jetted tub and the beds were comfy. Delighted to have the ceiling fan as well.

We had a function to attend at the Napier Sailing Club ... a short walk over the bridge. Extremely welcoming service, clean comfortable could not ask for more.

The room we were in was definitely not sound proof so could basically hear everything , the curtains don’t block out the light and the light would come in from the bathroom since it had a hole in the wall , other then that nice hotel to stay at

Rooms are not advertised as sound proof. And this would be our first complaint about curtains not blocking out the light so maybe they were not pulled across properly. The window in the wall that you have referred to as a hole we will look at doing something with. But am pleased you found your stay pleasant. I appreciate your feed back and hope you will stay again in the future.

Really enjoyed our stay at the motel , the room was nice and warm , bed was comfortable, really enjoyed the tv lol parking was perfect and everything about the room was spot on ! Will definitely be back again and definitely recommend this place , thank you !

Very tidy, however bed a little dated and didn’t sleep so well on it. Curtain coming down in one corner, but very tidy easy stay.

Thank you for your review we always welcome these. Our beds are replaced every 4 years under contract,most were renewed 2 years ago. Beds are very much a personal preference.

Nice location overlooking the estuary, away from the rest of town but close enough that it's only a couple of minutes to drive. 1 minute walk to the beach. Spacious and comfortable rooms, decent wifi and good TV. Looking forward to staying here again.
