"Host was extremely helpful and accommodating despite our schedule changing with short notice, offered to make breakfast an hour early and even ended up boxing up food when our tour started early! Wonderful friendly dogs on the property, cute little house with everything we needed away from the busy city but still convenient to everything. "
"Everything is Great!
I really recommend this hotel.
The room is amazing. Decor amazing! Very good food! It’s a MUST do!
Daniel love is Job… he speaks English and Spanish. "
"This a great place to stay for a few days in Punta Arenas. It is close to the heart of the downtown but not so much that it is noisy. The little kitchenette is perfect for a meal in and the breakfast offerings were very sweet. The bed was also comfy and the room was very clean. Thanks to the staff for their warm welcome and friendliness!"
"Staff cleaned daily. Super wonderful nice hosts who were very helpful. Overall, great experience. Comfortable beds, quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay again. "
"If you are looking for a simple inexpensive property conveniently located within puntas arenas it’s great. The manager was fantastic. I needed only a bed and they were perfectly accommodating. The walls are thin as this is a large converted house, but if you’re just looking for a quick breakfast and a warm bed you can’t beat this price. "

"This is a lovely hotel... historic charm, views of the strait or the central park, beautifully appointed, great rooms and great staff. Andres at the bell desk was really warm and helpful. The only downside was the room heating not working, inspite of the engineer's efforts. But the weather was fine, so it didn't bother us.
It was ideal for our short stop in the town, providing easy access to restaurants and places to see. They have a lively restaurant on site that also serves a good breakfast."
"We only stayed one night but Melita made such an impression on us. What a wonderful host - nothing was too much trouble. Comfortable and warm bedrooms and a lovely strong shower. The breakfast was delicious. Easy to Uber from the airport and into Punta Arenas. I would definitely recommend. "
"Everything was excellent and this hostal served breakfast beginning at 4:00 am. This breakfast time was very helpful to me since my full day tour started at 5:15 am.
Thank you Hostal Cordillera for the breakfast, the clean room, and the warm welcome from the people that work in this hostal. "
"El staff super amigable. La atencion de 100.
El unico detalle que no tiene absolutamente nada que ver con la atencion del hostal, es que se escucha mucho ruido de los automóviles durante la noche, entonces un recomendacion seria llevar tapones de oidos para quienes les cjesta conciliar el sueño."
"Sara was a magnificent host. We actually stayed here twice; once at the start of our trip, and again at the end. Quick and easy communication, perfect separation for parents and adult children, walkable to everything. And... affordable. Thanks for a great stay, Sara!"
