New Ocean View Retreat! Family & Dog friendly Resort

Pacific Shores resort is an ideal place to getaway for a weekend or family vacation, while surrounded by 15 acres of manicured ocean front resort living.
This 3rd floor studio suite (with elevator access from parking garage)overlooks Craig Bay, with beautiful ocean views from the deck, or from the bistro table. Hotel style Suite with Queen bed and hide a bed (with new comfy mattress), and we are a pet friendly resort & hosts (as we know they are family too).
As our guest you will enjoy:
Microwave & mini fridge with separate freezer, coffee bar: kuerig, and wireless internet & Rogers Xfitiny TV with Netflix.
The resort has a full walking trail around the property & estuary park land adjacent.
Free on site parking.
Amazing Seasonal Outdoor hot tub built into beautifully maintained rock structured gated area with kids pool with small slide. Outdoor kids pirate playground with sand box.
Kayak rental’s are also available seasonally when you stay with us.
Year round access to large indoor pool, hot tub, sauna & Full Gym. 10 new pickleball outdoor courts to choose from with access to paddles & balls.
Pacific shores resort has an onsite restaurant Pacific Moon Rising, and the food is excellent with lots of choices and gluten free options.
There is also a Spa & Physiotherapy clinic located on the property.
We are located around beautiful walking trails & Oceanside scenery, nestled in a secluded bay. Parksville & island highway is less than 5 mins away to take you on your next adventure. Coombs market is 15 mins and north Nanaimo shopping less than 20 minutes. You cannot beat the location, whether you are off to Tofino or Uclelet (drive thru the tall old growth forest at Cathedral Grove) for a day trip or stopping to enjoy some rest & relaxation.
If you are a hiker there are so many hiking trails & parks: just down the road is the absolutely scenic Oceanside Moorecroft Regional park. This day park is 35 hectares with picnic areas, ocean paths & inlet for swimming.
Rathtrevor park & Parksville Community Park (with outdoor play & waterpark hosts the annual sandcastle festival), Englishman River falls & Cameron lake are all located within a short drive.
Also, 1 hour drive to the amazing ski hill: Mt. Washington & Nanaimo airport approx 35 mins drive!

They were welcoming, however in terms of amenities there was no toilet paper when we arrived. Other than that, the place was nice. We enjoyed our time there, the resort is beautiful and great resources, the pool, the sauna, etc.
