Search Nannilam hotels

Given Nannilam's size and focus as a pilgrimage destination, the best area to stay is generally within Nannilam town itself, particularly close to the Nannilam Sivan Temple.

For visitors primarily focused on the temple and local culture, staying near the Nannilam Sivan Temple offers the most convenience. The town centre, which is compact and easily navigable on foot, provides access to local eateries, small shops, and direct routes to the temple. This area isn't defined by specific street names as much as its proximity to the main temple complex.

Couples or solo travellers seeking a tranquil experience and easy access to spiritual sites will find this central location ideal. It allows for multiple visits to the temple throughout the day and offers a genuine sense of the local community.

The best time to visit Nannilam in Tamil Nadu is during the dry season, from October to March, when the weather is most pleasant for exploring.

During these months, the temperatures are moderate, ranging from a comfortable 20°C to 30°C, and there is minimal rainfall. This makes it ideal for visiting local temples, exploring the agricultural landscape, or simply enjoying the outdoors.

Families with children will find this period particularly suitable as the cooler weather makes sightseeing much more enjoyable for everyone.
