"The staff at the front desk and the housekeepers were all so nice. The red haired lady on the night desk was lovely. All the staff were so helpful, they helped me with faxing, and I kept having to extend my stay, and they accommodated me. The breakfast was nice, and newspapers. The room had a good view and a large balcony with furniture. Microwave and fridge were good, everything very clean. Only downside is the road noise, which of course, can not be helped. I would stay here again....

Excellent self-catering facilities (microwave, full size stove top & oven, toaster, kettle, utensils, etc.) in clean and spacious 'apartment' with separate bedroom Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Ample parking and very convenient location for ferry terminal. Only real negative was slightly noisy at night from nearby roads. Would stay again."

"Ignore any and all bad reviews, the Bluebird motel was so clean, the bedding was clean, and the reviews complaining about noise I don’t understand as the white noise being generated by the AC was enough to be able to relax and sleep in peace. You get the bang for your buck. Check in process was great too, the woman was very kind as well. Very close to things to do in Nanaimo, great location. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. "

"This condo has a beautiful view of the marina and is within walking distance of a few restaurants. It was not well stocked tho and this was our first experience with a VRBO having to supply our own bathroom tissue, shampoo, coffee etc. They did say they only supply enough for one day in their book after we read it. We only had one knife which was extremely dull, very few dishes and cutler. The vacuum did not work well and it could have been cleaned to a higher standard. They did supply...
