"We recently enjoyed a wonderful two‑night stay at Hotel Mystic Mountain, Nagarkot on 7 and 8 March 2026, and it was truly memorable. Although the weather did not cooperate enough for us to experience the famous mountain views, the exceptional hospitality more than made up for it. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly polite, welcoming, and attentive. The hotel’s facilities are genuinely world‑class, offering comfort, cleanliness, and a serene environment. Both the breakfast and dinner buffet selections were superb, with an impressive variety of delicious dishes. A special word of appreciation goes to Bal Krishna Shrestha, whose professionalism, warm nature, and thoughtful assistance made both me and my wife feel completely at home. His support and genuine care added a personal touch that made our stay even more meaningful. Thank you, Hotel Mystic Mountain, for making our short stay unforgettable. "Had a lovely staff here. Room was lovely. Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Lovely pool and restaurants, amazing choice at breakfast. Near several locations you can walk to and explore. The airport collection was really easy. Good wifi in all areas of the hotel. Would stay here again and at other Barahi group properties. "

"Everything at Hotel Shanker is truly great. I really feel at home in this beautiful hotel. The staff are magnificent and everyone is so friendly and helpful. The architecture of this old historical palace is stunning. The entrance and lobby is so beautiful and great for photos. The garden in front is wonderful and the pool is terrific. I highly recommend staying at Hotel Shanker. It’s the only place I stay when visiting Kathmandu. I’m already looking forward to a return visit!! Thank you Hotel Shanker for treating me so well and giving me such great memories and photos!!"

"If you want an authentic Nepalese place this is the place to stay. My sister and I had the villa which was amazing with our very own balcony and courtyard which no one visited. Breakfast was wonderful, there are quite a few restaurants and the food was superb in all of them. There was a quaint little bar, outside areas with heaters if needed. The Nepalese people are generally the nicest people, always helpful and friendly. Their English was great so that certainly makes it easier. Tick of approval."

"This is a lovely resort - definitely one of the best in/outside of Kathmandu. The staff were also great and the spa treatment was standout. The room was very comfortable with amazing bedding - we appreciated that a lot! Another highlight was sundowners on the helipad with a 360 view. I wouldn't rate the place 5 stars only because a few areas need improvement - when you looked closely at things, you could see some cheap construction... Also the sauna/steam rooms were really gross, we skipped after a walk through... They really need to be completely re-done."
