Top Namaqumaqua Hotel Reviews

Warwick Fiji

Warwick Fiji

8/10 Good
"The Warwick Fiji Resort is at times amazing and at others times poor, so it is hard to provide a balanced review. So, the negatives first: It is dated and some aspects are tired and in need it repair (rooms and facilities). The food and drinks are very expensive! Some staff can be rude, but this was a minority. It is a long way from the airport, over 2 hours. Now, the positives: Wicked Walu is an amazing restaurant, even given the prices The staff in general are friendly, kind and helpful. The overall cost is good for what you get The facilities are good, if dated The snorkeling is excellent for a on resort option Activities were good Buffet changed each day, a nice selection of general foods, if not amazing. If you can afford the suite upgrade it is well worth it for the extra space and access to the Warwick club (afternoon drink and evening aperitif), which was the highlight for us. Definitely book all inclusive or full board to save money on lunch and dinner costs. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but set your expectations for what you are paying."

Uprising Beach Resort

Uprising Beach Resort

8/10 Good
"This is not a swanky resort. Seems to be used mostly by divers for a night or two. The food was not good, basic western menus done badly - greasy breakfast, pasta with jarred sauce, pizza that was missing toppings. We went off site and found the burger place next door to it Beach Bum Burgers, was seriously good quality gourmet burgers, homemade and served by the owners, and there's little 'Raj's restaurant' 5 mins up the main road, that did the nicest chicken curry (ask for boneless), it was only $12.50FJD. The few staff on site at Uprising were friendly, the bure was very close to the waters edge, and the grounds were nicely maintained. The drawers by the bed were broken and the bathroom sink was coming away from the base. If you want a no frills resort with friendly locals then I recommend this, if you want luxurious surroundings then steer clear."

"Room was nice and clean. washrooms had no hangers to hang towel or under garments for privacy reasons if sharing room with friends other than your partner"

OUTRIGGER Fiji Beach Resort

OUTRIGGER Fiji Beach Resort

10/10 Excellent
"The resort was clean, staff was exceptionally friendly….remembering all our names, taking time to ask how we were doing and if we needed anything. The restaurants offered a wide choice of food. I would definitely recommend the outrigger for a family vacation."

Mango Bay Resort

Mango Bay Resort

10/10 Excellent
"Perfect and special bure right on beach - Beachfront (Tula), with the sound of the sea and waves right outside your door. Bed mattress new, firm, excellent sleep. Outdoor open air shower unique and amazing, with gas-boosted instant hot water. Get a Vodafone eSim online a week before you go ($23 AUD for 50GB for 10 days), activates the day before you go, switch to it on arrival on the airport, get 4G 2/3 bars in your room at the resort as wi-fi only in the restaurant. Included Continental Breakfast good enough to start the day. Hire car needed, 2WD ok for the 1 km gravel road to resort, + easy to drive around Fiji as 50 km/h / 80 km/h everywhere, just watch out for the odd pothole. 2 hour drive from Nadi airport, stock up half way with beers and snacks at True Mart Yadua as cheapest and good selection. Friendly owner and staff always happy to help make your stay the best it can be, + friendly people everywhere you go in Fiji. Relaxing and chilled holiday, small and exclusive without the boutique or brand price."

Tambua Sands Beach Resort - Adults Only

Tambua Sands Beach Resort - Adults Only

8/10 Good
"The most enjoyable part of the stay was the exceptionally helpful, friendly and entertaining staff. Some maintenance on the Bures is needed going forward. Just making sure the toilet seats are secured each time guests arrive , a mat inside the front door, and just some paint on marks would be recommended. Also a change up in the daily menu would be great. Overall we had a fun time."

Wellesley Resort

Wellesley Resort

8/10 Good
"Large pool, really attractive, well attended grounds. Secluded & remote with a lovely sandy beach directly in front. Nice & quiet, but very thin walls between units so you could hear every word your neighbours said. Culture night feast & kava celebration were great. Unfortunately other meals were a bit disappointing. Long way from Nadi, but convenient distance to Suva. Excellent beach, excellent snorkelling."
