Halcyon Hot Springs Resort

Halcyon Hot Springs Resort

10/10 Excellent
"We rented one of the chalets (6ppl) and the space was great! Kitchen came with basic dishes and glassware, including some pots and a pan. Coffee maker, toaster, blender, kettle. We brought all our own food with us, but the fridge’s ice maker was broken, so don’t forget to bring ice with you as well. Leave your shoes at the door or you’ll track sand in easily - and there’s no broom to sweep it up. Primary room’s mattress was like sleeping on the floor (no squish or plush to it at all), and the pillows are terrible hotel room pillows that flatten to a piece of paper within 30secs of laying your head on them. Towels and robes aren’t size-inclusive, so if you’re anywhere near “normal” in body size, good luck wrapping yourself in one. The hot springs themselves are wonderful and well-maintained, and the restaurant was delicious, with great staff. Check to make sure you have everything with you before leaving Nakusp or Revelstoke - it’s a schlepp to “run out” and pick up anything you forgot to bring!"
