Potential to be good but not quite.
Very large hotel in need of some upkeep, but room was comfortable and had character. Food is good. Reception staff were slow and unhurried even when a lineup started to form. Bar and restaurant staff were obliging but no pleasantries from reception-rather a shock after wonderful service everywhere else in Thailand. The pool pump system was soooo noisy we left the pool. Price is good. Potentially a beautiful hotel but needs some spit and polish.

We stayed in the executive suite. Loved the huge room. The furniture and fixtures are in need of an upgrade and repair. This hotel is beautiful, ornate, opulent but needs to be repaired and upgraded.

I total booked 5 room. Change my parent room to a small room and tell my parent they change their room to a better room, their room don’t have hot water cooker and nescafe, as them already request with lobby for 5 rooms but they only give one room ! That’s not fair for others 4 rooms

Good stopover
Good, large hotel with pool. We stayed 2 nights, food was rather expensive in restaurant so we didn't try. Breakfast was good with lots of choice including large Asian section and smaller western offerings. We had do not disturb sign up on day two and got left no water. Final morning, cleaner tried to enter room one second after knocking despite do not disturb. Local area was near large Tesco superstore with KFC and McDonalds and indoor food market. The local songthaews stop around 7pm but there are plenty during the day. Meter taxi available at night. Not much in this area, you would need transport to visit sights.

Hispeed internet throughout, comfortable affordable hotel that is clean and has helpful staff. It does need updating in areas but the rooms are spotless and satellite TV with BEin sport live premiership football!

Comfortable stay
Nice, clean and comfortable hotel close to shops. Lots of function rooms and several restaurants with live music in the evening. This is not in a tourist area and staff and locals speak minimal English. Free transport to the airport.

I have traveled to Nakhon Si Thammarat more than 25 times. I have stayed in a few of the hotels. This one has been the best for the money and experience overall. The service by the staff has always been good. Our room had been updated from the last time I was here last year. Everything in the room was new, floor to ceiling, except the tile in the bathroom. The rooms are spacious with updated technology for electronics and appliances. Comes with a decent mini-bar and coffee/tea set up. The laundry is quick and cheap - one day service. Good restaurant downstairs open for all meals. The breakfast buffet is worth buying with the room. A decent spread of something for both western and Asian cultures. The suites are larger than most if you need more room or luxury. A big beautiful lobby with plenty of seating all around for groups and meeting friends. A new coffee lounge is being renovated off the lobby. Traditional Thai music is played in the evening as guests arrive in the lobby. Good wifi in the room and elsewhere. Nice large outdoor pool. Plenty of options for those looking to hold business meetings and conferences. Also conveniently across the street from shopping and food at Tesco Lotus. Only 5 minutes away from the new Central Mall which has many great stores and lots of restaurants.

Needs much improvement through and through
The staff at front desk were not happy. Gave us a hard time when checking in. We took as we were firings and they did not care for us being there. Watched the same front desk employees smoke and gladly helping Thai citizens. Room need an overhaul. Drains in both tub and sinks need to be cleaned out for better drainage. The hotel in general is showing its age!

Good value established hotel in central area
A large established hotel mainly catering for events and business travellers I think. Everything was fine but not outstanding reflecting generally good value. Huge range of breakfast but most dishes only warm or cold because the serving trays were left open. Some good local restaurants and cafes and a Tesco Lotus opposite.

Don't trip on your way to the.bathroom
There is about a 3 inch threshold to enter the bathroom. Can't tell you how many times I stubbed my toes on it. Did I say it was hot? Hot in the elevators and hallways and in your room when you arrive. You have to put in a card to turn on the AC and lights to cool your room. I would just bring a spare credit card to stick in the slot if you don't want to put in your rfid room key. Electricity sockets take standard US blade plugs but at 220 volts.

Question the hype
The hotel staff not very friendly towards non Thai. The bathroom showers need fixing. The toilets including the lobby all flush poorly. The shower curtains have mold on bottoms. They say it is the best hotel in the area, maybe to Thai standards it is. I rate this hotel below average
