Overall, it was a very good stay. However, the flow of water from the shower was all around the place, instead of directly down and the water did not heat that much, especially if you have to take a shower early morning. Also, there were some problems with the curtain rails, which sometimes came off when pulling the curtains.

The property is run down and everything is falling apart inside The housekeeping staff one morning just opened the door and started cleaning while I was asleep in bed! When she was asked to return later she said "No I can't I have a staff meeting !" Its a great price if you just need a bed for the night - but nothing else would make me go here again

A mediocre place with friendly staff
The staff are friendly and helpful but the facilities are mediocre and dated. Rooms are smaller in size compared to similar priced hotels I've stayed in Nairobi. The bathroom is poorly designed. Housekeeping didn't change my bedsheets even though I was there for over a week. The location is good with two major malls close by. The restaurant service is good but the food was average and inauthentic at its best (no Thai flavors in the green curry, was closer to a pesto sauce). This was surprising as the reviews online praised the restaurant and chef but that wasn't my experience. Internet was solid, no complaints there. Overall, too many small things that were wrong which made it a mediocre experience (3 out of 5).

The bathrooms require urgent repair and renovation work. The room we were given was not even cleaned properly and had to request another room. Housekeeping did poor cleaning job the next day and the place is infested with mosquitoes.

Convenient location, dream price.
This hotel in a convenient location right behind sarit Center and a walking distance to westgate. The staff are very helpful and the rooms are comfortable. Definitely worth considering.

Super Place
I fell sick on my 1st day, the hotel staff and general manager Neeraj took care of me like family. They have good chef who can make any creative dishes as per your liking. Staffs are friendly. I would come back anytime to this hotel and recommend all.

Convenient location in Nairobis westlands area
Hotel is a walking distance to westgate and right behind Sarit center, these provide good banking facilities and most of what the normal traveller would need. Its also a stone throw away from the city center and for the price quality ratio, it is unbeatable.

I was expecting more
For a hotel rated at 3.5 - 4 stars, it is the definition of average. Nothing extraordinary about it, the restaurant variety was good, the service was ok and that't about it. On the minus side, the room floor was always dirty, the bathroom door had a broken handle fixed with tape and toilet paper, the wake-up service wass rubbish - they either woke me up earlier than requested or completely forgot about it. I asked for a packed vegetarian breakfast when checking out and they gave me sausages... All in all, i guess this is what you can expect from 3-4 stars in Kenya, but for this price, i think they can do better.

Good Hotel Centrally Located
This is a good hotel that is very conveniently located to all possible amenities in Westlands. It is clean, friendly and I got great nights sleep there as it is in a quiet location with no traffic noise or other distractions. It is also very competitively priced for what one gets.

Poor management and staff
First, you may not even be able to find this place. They don't make it easy. Then, check-in was EXTREMELY slow, even though there were no other customers when we arrived. They will keep your passport, and not necessarily remember to return it when you check out. I had to go back to the hotel after I checked out and realized my passport was missing. On the positive side, the rooms are spacious because the building used to be condo units. The breakfast was very good.

A decent place to stay.
This was a decent place to stay. Breakfasts were good. Good Wi-Fi. Luke warm showers and we couldn't change the channels on the TV even though the staff replaced the batteries in the remote.

Very friendly and personable staff. Affordable and well-situated, near the Sarit Centre. My only complaint is the wifi in the room speed working, and they were not able to fix it.

Normal apartment stay.
Over all OK, however ordering at the restaurant and waiting for 50 minutes for the food to arrive was too much to understand. Also the water at the shower keeps staying and almost fell there due to it being slippery and uneven floor not allowing water to drain.

Recommended Nairobi hotel
Comfortable, clean hotel in a great part of Nairobi. Good size room, comfortable bed, good Wi-Fi reception in room and public spaces, and a restaurant that served up good food at reasonable prices. The 2 things they can improve that would give it another star would be an upgrade in the bathroom (dated, sketchy hot water) and a work area in the room.

Nice hotel with an amazing breakfast
I stayed one night at The Zehneria Portico Nairobi and was really pleased with my choice. Compared to other hotels in Nairobi I think this one is really good value for money. The room is spacious and comfortable. The WI-FI is excellent. They got a nice pool and the staff is really friendly and helpful. Furthermore I had the best breakfast with excellent choices so can only recommend this place.

Awesome staff. Great Location. Needs a revamp.
It's the perfect base for exploring Nairobi. I enjoyed the attentiveness and kindliness of all staff members I had the opportunity to interact. The bed was comfy. Breakfast options are limited and the food was not memorable. It would be awesome to take in to consideration those who have special dietary needs (dairy free, vegetarian). Additionally, the bathrooms and flooring could use some renovations. Water was rarely warm. Toilet was leaking.

Strong value for money.
Stayed 2 nights on a business trip. Was well located for my personal requirements, but in general is very close to a number of business and shopping centres. Was quiet, comfortable and very good value for money. I used the gym which was small but new equipment in good working order. Breakfast was fine, if a little slow. Pool looking inviting. Staff polite, engaging and seeking to meet customer requirement

Would think about it twice...
This hotel might be a 4 star in Nairobi standards, but this would be a 2 maybe 3 star world standard. The bathroom was filled with mosquitoes, the floor of the room and bathroom was not that clean, breakfast was very limited (as opposed to what I had read in other reviews), tv didnt work first day, and every time it rained it lost reception, hence some channels became unavailable. On the very positive side, the staff was extremely friendly and willing to help!

One of the BEST Hotels I have stayed in
What else can I say, This is one of the BEST Hotels I have stayed in, High end Modern Designs, which are really breath taking, Very Detailed infrastructure. Everything is working (Hot water-Nice Pool-Amazing Continental Breakfast) with huge variety changed daily. Lunch and Dinner ok but need some work, Excellent Location and Friendly service.
