Please don't reserve any rooms from this hotel. It's really not a hotel It's more like a motel. Very old rooms and very dirty no heater It's was very cold at night it was like sleeping outdoors. I will never reserve any rooms at the KAREN INN SUITE !!!!!!!!!

Nice stay

Helpful staff arranged for taxi services. Good food in their small restaurant. Breakfast was minimal but you can order additional breakfast food. Felt safe in guarded, fenced area with nice gardens.

Excellent price for Karen hotel

I have stayed at many hotels throughout Kenya, many in Karen, and for the cost of this hotel’s location, you can’t find a better place in this area that is clean and safe even for solo female travelers. The food in the restaurant is good and the rooms are small but sufficient especially if you are busy during the day as I was. My only complaint is that twice the mosquito nets have had holes. Good news is that hot water and internet work well and staff is helpful.

Wir haben das Hotel gebucht auf Empfehlung, es war recht schön besonders in der Nähe zum Giraffencenter, Nationalpark und Elefantenwaisenhaus - der Zustand des Badezimmers war so ... la la - würde das Hotel trotzdem nochmal buchen - allein wegen der Lage - sehr sicher und auch freundlich

Hotell ligger i rolig støk

Det mest skuffende er badet/dusj. Frokost kan ikke kalles frokost. Består av tør og svidde beef sausages, noe ligner på eggerøre og noen frokost blanding. Brød er uspiselig og pålegg mangler.

Barebone comfort, fantastic service.

This is one of the cheapest options in Karen. The comfort is limited for the cheapest rooms, in particular in the bathroom. There is a small TV, a desk, a shower (with no curtain, lukewarm water). The bed is okay, but the mosquito net on mine was torn in some places. Bring your own... WiFi was sketchy the first couple of days, very good the rest of the week. I didn't notice any air con, but the temperature was fine in the room, both day and night. The food is fine, nothing special, breakfast is limited to coffee/tea, juice, fruits, and bread. The area is gated, guarded, and seemed safe, but it requires a car to go anywhere from the hotel. Luckily, the hotel has contacts to some excellent drivers (ask for Shaddy), and the cost is minimal. The hotel's strongest point is the service. The team is incredibly helpful, polite and welcoming. A real pleasure. If you want to be in Karen and can live with minimal comfort, I recommend it. If you prefer more comfort for the same price, you will have to go in another part of Nairobi.

Superior staff. Lovely garden and outside sitting area. Several quiet spaces to sit, have a cup of tea and just relax. I would stay here again.

Secure and comfortable

Enjoyed our stay in comfortable beds. Great warm shower. Sketchy WI-FI but we made do. Great attention and good food in small hotel restaurant.

A nice stay in Karen

We enjoyed 5 days in Karen Inn and Suites. The room was big and clean, the service really good - very kind and polite staff. The area was nice and quiet and being situated in Karen it is very close to The Karen Blixen Museum, David scheldrick, Kazuri, Giraffe Centre and The Ngong Hills. We missed a safe in the room though and the possibility to make a cup of tea and coffee. We would stay there again

Pettymys.

Pettymys. Huoneen piti olla DeLuxe-huone, mutta huoneen taso ja repsottavat lampun johdot ilman lamppua ja erittäin puutteellinen kalustus. Ainoa hyvä oli sänky. Aamiainen täydellinen pettymys ja iltapalana mustaksi ja erittäin kuivaksi tehtyjä chicken wings 4 kpl. Ei voinut syödä. Receptionin henkilöstö oli hyvä.

Warm hospitality in a secure neighborhood

Amazingly welcoming staff... I was traveling alone and had an odd-hour project which saw me leaving at 5 in the morning and returning by 9. The chefs Debra and Felix never complained in the face of my many requests for early breakfasts and packed lunches (in fact added more that I asked everytime) Location is super secure, and close to the national park, Karen museum and preservation centres Rooms are clean though dated; watch out for bed bugs and carry repellent!

Excellent value

Excellent value accommodation with large rooms. The property in a secure compound is close to the heart of Karen and close to the Southern Bypass. Unfortunately, breakfast is not really to the standard of the rest of the accommodation. Staff are warm and friendly.
