Located on the south end between Jenette's Pier and Fish Heads Bar & Grill/Pier you will find our private and quant property nestled up against the OBX preserve. Enjoy the eagles nest balcony off the master bedroom as the sun rises over the Atlantic or watch as the sun sets over the sound on our large back patio with no other properties behind you! Great location made for close access to Oregon Inlet for fishing. Close to several restaurants for dining. Spent both evenings on the back deck. Kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Cottage is located just off the beach Road for easy access to everything it allows for privacy.

Cozy Beach Cottage

Plenty of space for friends and family to unwind. Great location tucked away in the middle of the OBX making it convenient to get everywhere we wanted to see and easily accessible for a break in the day. Would definitely book this cottage again. Absolutely loved it!

Awesome Location

Finding a quiet rental on Bodie Island that's still close to the restaurants and activities in Nags Head and KDH can be a real challenge, but this property threads the needle! Space is perfectly suited for a family of 3-5, and the well stocked kitchen was particularly appreciated. Back deck is nice and private feeling which is tough to manage in this area. Hope to stay here again on a future trip!

Nags head stay!

We came to stay for April vacation! It was my 8 year old son, myself and my boyfriend. The property was beautiful! We grilled on the porch and walked to the beach everyday! We loved the mini golf near by and the beach the best. I highly recommend staying at the property and we would love to come back!

Perfect moms and sons trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It’s nice to be away from the main area and it’s a short drive to anything you might need. The house was an easy walk to the beach - we felt safe at night walking around as well. The house layout was great for us to be upstairs and give the teenagers some space. Loved the kitchen table with built in lazy Susan. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook plenty of meals at the house. We loved it!

Nice

The cottage was overall very clean. It was a little dated. The biggest thing that I had was there is hardly any parking can’t even hardly turn your car around, but the owner was very responsive. Very nice and very easy to deal with overall the cottages very nice and for the price I would stay there again.

Plesant and relaxing.

Though this place is dated, it was comfortable and cozy. When a light went out we called number, someone came out and fixed it. Everybody was very pleasant and nice. Easy to work with. Very helpful of places to go and very easy to check in. Enjoyed our stay very much. Wanted to mention there is no dishwasher not a big deal for us , but that may bother some. Not a lot of room to park. Only us there so no problem for us, but may be for others. We had a great time.

Good value for off-season rental

Great value for our stay. Split level (3) house with 2 full bedrooms and multiple sofabeds in 2 other open areas. New air conditioning/heater wall units. Good LED TVs and Spectrum internet. Good location within 100 yards of Nags Head beach access. Within walking distance of Jeannette's pier. In addition to our own toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags (as stated in their description), we bought our own dish soap, bath soap, and dobie pads for dishwashing. Liquid soap provided was so-so. Nonetheless, we give our stay 5 stars.

I question the cleanliness of the bed linens. House was as described and a good value for the money. One bathroom is very small and this home would not be handicap appropriate. I have a broken leg so all the stairs inside and out were challenging. If you are not handicapped like me I would recommend it for the price.

Disappointing

The house shows many signs of wear and tear and needs a deep cleaning. Holes in vinyl floors, many carpet stains, throw pillow and blanket stains, hole in wall, dirty kitchen windows, torn screens, bathroom mold on shower curtains and toilet cleaning utensils, dog poo in yard, cockroach bug in bathroom, outside furniture and grill too rusty to use. Owner was receptive and thankful to my comments but nothing done during our stay.Gorgeous sunsets, central location, sufficient dinnerware and linens.

Great location!

This property provided us everything we wanted. My husband and I traveled with our two adult daughters and young granddaughter. There are so many great things to say about this property. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms provided all of us privacy. A very well stocjed kitchen was definitely a plus for lunches and late night snacks. It would be very easy to fix a meal for a group during your visit. There is a gas grill, and plenty of outdoor space for sunbathing and picnics. There are top notch TVs in every room and access to any prime time TV you would be interested in watching. It was an easy walk straight to the beach (crossing only one road). Other amenities include a washer and dryer, outside shower, corn hole boards and plenty of board games and puzzles for indoor activities. The a/c and fans were great! This is a well stocked home. If you forgot something you are probably going to find it available. I was very satisfied with the daily price during the peak season and being able to limit our days there. I would definitely recommend this home.

Perfect house for our visit. Love the breezes in many rooms thanks to sliding doors and windows. Loved the open spaciousness of the living room and how it was perfectly connected to kitchen. Beds comfy and kitchen had all we needed for cooking. Furniture great and comfortable too. Location was nice, especially being at end of street. Peaceful, quiet, private.
