Inside you will enjoy bright colors, a well equipped kitchen, and comfortable furniture in the cathedral ceiling living room. Plenty of 1st floor bedrooms make for cozy sleeping quarters and the top floor living, dining and kitchen takes full advantage of the spectacular views. Nice house 1 lot back from beach. Location was great. House had everything we needed. As with most of the houses on the OBX it needs some repairs. But I’d get this house again.

Sweet Vacation!

What a great house for our beach vacation. There were 5 adults and 2 dogs, so we had plenty of space. The deck and porch were wonderful. The only issue was that the screen was ripped and flies were getting into the house. Everything we needed was there, the hot tub was so relaxing, and the house was very clean. We would definitely go back!

Perfect Location in S. Nags Head

Great location, lots of beds and bathrooms. Owner should stay there for a week and see what's missing. Hot tub was grand but lid is broken. Pots and pans are seriously lacking. Had to sharpen all the kitchen knives at Ace as they were all completely dull. No egg pan. Had to hit Target for a set of frying pans. Could not find any blankets (yes they are needed), just 1 bedspread per bed. Outdoor shower needs to be replaced (have never stayed in a house in OBX without one). Doors are all sticking and at least one of the doorknob locks doesn't work. WIFI is very weak if not close to router. Need a few extenders. We are 30+ year renters in OBX.

A quiet Thanksgiving

We enjoyed our week at Sweet Retreat with great views of the ocean and many walks on the beach. The house has a great layout, very spacious and clean. Thank you!
