Overlooking the Roanoke Sound enjoy the sound views and a sunset that you will never forget from your private balcony. Don't worry about not bringing your favorite four-legged friend with you, Knot Of Sound Mind is a dog-friendly OBX vacation home! The kitchen is fully equipped and features breakfast bar seating and everything you could need to prepare meals on your Outer Banks vacation and a living area to relax in and watch some favorite movies and plan your next days adventures.

You’ll also have access to the community pool with outdoor showers, bathroom, and elevator access! There's a community pier that provides direct, private access to the sound for crabbing, kayaking, or windsurfing.

Nearby are great local restaurants, shopping, and numerous family attractions. Jennette's Pier, Jockey's Ridge, and Bodie Island Lighthouse are all in close proximity. Just a hop, skip & a jump to a fun day exploring Manteo, a relaxing morning watching the birds on Pea Island, a sunny afternoon swimming at an uncrowded beach, or even an exciting offshore fishing trip from nearby Oregon Inlet Fishing Center or Pirates Cove Marina

Vacation was great!

The guys fished some off the dock, piers. Had a good time! Ladies loved the beach, not to crowded and the food in the area and views were awesome! Thanks!

Knot of Sound Mind has a lot going for it…perfectly clean, everything you need in the kitchen, even a cold brew coffee maker. All three beds are more comfortable than our Sleep Number bed. Pool is fine and there are outdoor showers on the back side of the building. More board games than you’ll ever need. We had six days of clouds and drizzle so we may not ever be back but if we were staying here would be just fine.

Overall property was a s described. All things in the home worked well. Couches needed a bit of updating and shower drain was sluggish but overall it met our expectations and had everything we needed for our three night stay.

Beautiful place to escape

My husband and I wanted to spend Christmas in our piece of heaven, the Outer Banks of NC. We also wanted to take our two year old ShihTzu, Loki, with us. Searching for the perfect pet friendly place, I found this beautiful condo. Another plus was that it is located in the same complex, Sugar Creek, as a condo we once owned. We were thrilled to return to Sugar Creek! And this condo was the best rental we have ever had. From a cleanliness point of view, it was spotless. The kitchen was well stocked, and the bedrooms were nicely furnished. The owners must have a strong decorating gene, as this condo was beautifully decorated. At the time we booked "Knot of Sound Mind" for December, we also booked for February. We are both looking forward to returning in 30 days! Peggy & Glenn Thomsen
