Great place for friends or family

Everything was well stocked, the walking to the beach was not too far and the amount of space was perfect. We loved the fenced in yard for the dog to get some freedom.

Our stay was amazing. Close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. Host was quick to respond to any questions before or during our stay. This beach house had everything you would ever need. The house was clean and inviting. Would definitely book again when I am in the area!

We had a wonderful stay

The house was exactly as expected. We appreciated the provided starter items that we normally have to go out and buy the first day. The house was in the perfect location for the music festival we were attending at the nearby Ramada. It was great having the option to walk over for the evening events. I personally enjoyed sitting on the enclosed porch and painting in the mornings. Thanks for everything!

Great location, fun house for everyone

Wonderful family friendly house, in a great location. In the midst of all the fun of OBX, and the beach 2 blocks away, it’s perfect for whatever you want from your OBX vacation. My teens loved that basement hangout with pool, cornhole and bikes. The family area has a well stocked kitchen to cook in but you are also close to all the dining options you could ask for. Outdoor shower is super convenient and there are plenty of beach toys, chairs, etc to entertain yourself and your kids. Good communication and easy checkin/out. Thanks for a great week!

Fishing trip friends.

The host was great! She made the whole process so easy. Responded so quick when I text her. We are already talking about staying there next year. The house is perfect. It was 5 guys ranging from 22 to53. The perfect setup. We stayed downstairs shooting pool,playing corn hole and watching the game on TV. Perfect location also. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home for memorial weekend.

Location was good. Fence in desperate need of repairs- wholes that dogs can escape from. Shower in master bath needs new gasket on the door. Recommend plumbing the dehumidifier in the basement to control the mildew in the basement. The rods to turn the Venetian blinds gave fallen off.

Very happy with our stay

We had a great stay here. The house was very clean, I was impressed. When we walked into the house it even smelled clean! It was the perfect size for the 3 of us. It could have held another small family too. Very short walk to the beach which was perfect. Everything you could ever need was there. We hardly had to bring anything but our clothes and toiletries. Everything was within a short distance. It’s on the busier side of OBX, but where the house is located you would have no idea that you were around it. It was quiet and enjoyable. Alice was very responsive and answered any questions I had. Overall, the experience was great! Thank you for letting us stay Alice!

Great stay on Atlas Street

This was a lovely home and actually better than the pictures. I personally appreciated that the owner let me have all three of my dogs. The fenced in property was very handy. Admittedly the deck outside the front door got too hot in the afternoon for both human and doggie feet. We loved that the house had all the necessities, like hand soap, dish soap, kitchen towels -paper and fabric. The rec room under the house had lots of fun items for play and the beach. The four adults only had one problem - no good place to read!. None of the lamps were conducive to reading. The sofas were fine for sitting, but neither of the lamps put out enough light. Same with the bedrooms. The overhead light over the dining table was the only place to read. And there were 4 of us readers. That being said, it was a very nice place to stay for the 3 days we had. Also for us "old folks", the beach - though only 3 blocks away and carrying all the paraphanalia that 5 minutes was a little difficult. Thank you again to our host for an exceptional visit. For me it was just too short.
