We were very happy with our stay here. Check in was simple with a coded door and the house was clean and exactly as pictured in the post. The outside living area and fenced in yard was perfect for our dog and us to hang out outside. The kitchen had very nice recently updated appliances and it was well stocked with a large variety of cookware and everything else you would need to prepare a meal. The house is only several minutes away from the beach and the neighborhood is lovely. We will definitely be booking this location again if it’s available for our next visit
We had a great time at The Shelter, especially using the outdoor spaces. We enjoyed being close to the beach in the less commercially dense area of Nags Head, while being an easy 15 min drive to Manteo, Jockeys Ridge, and Pea Island refuge.
