This central area offers convenient access to local amenities and is a good base for exploring the town. You'll find a selection of local eateries and shops within walking distance. The Nagomi-machi General Gymnasium is a prominent landmark, and the area around the Town Office provides a clear reference point.

Couples looking for a relaxing retreat will appreciate the options available slightly outside the immediate town centre, often offering accommodation with views of the surrounding countryside or access to natural hot springs. These places provide a peaceful setting great for unwinding after a day of exploring.

For those interested in local culture and history, staying closer to the town's historical sites, such as the ancient burial mounds (kofun) or the Nagomi Tourism Centre, is ideal.

The best times to visit Nagomi are during spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November), when the weather is pleasant and the natural scenery is at its most appealing.

Spring in Nagomi is particularly beautiful, with blooming cherry blossoms transforming the landscape. The weather is generally mild and comfortable, making it ideal for exploring the rolling hills and historical sites. This is a fantastic time for couples to enjoy scenic walks and take in the natural beauty without the extreme heat of summer.

Autumn also offers excellent weather, with comfortable temperatures and clear skies. The changing leaves create a colourful backdrop, especially in the surrounding countryside and along the Kikuchi River.
