The best area to stay in Nachinola is the central part of the village, particularly around the main road that connects to Aldona and Moira.

This area offers a good balance of accessibility and a relaxed village feel. You'll find a few local shops and eateries here, and it's well-connected for exploring the surrounding Goan countryside. The main road is relatively quiet, with traditional Goan houses and lush greenery.

Couples looking for a peaceful escape will find this area particularly appealing. It's an excellent base for enjoying leisurely walks through the village, discovering local life, and unwinding away from busier tourist hubs. You're also well-placed for short drives to nearby beaches or the vibrant markets of Mapusa.

The best time to go to Nachinola is during the dry season, from November to February, when the weather is most pleasant for exploring.

During these months, you'll experience clear skies and comfortable temperatures, typically ranging from 20-30°C (68-86°F), making it ideal for outdoor activities like river cruises on the Mandovi or Chapora rivers, or simply relaxing by the water. This period avoids the heavy monsoon rains and the intense heat and humidity of the pre-monsoon months.

For those looking to avoid the peak tourist crowds and still enjoy good weather, the shoulder months of October and March can also be excellent.
