Dated Condo but Great Beach and Pool Area
The condo was really dated. The furniture, the cooktop oven, the refrigerator, the cupboards…and the “master” bathroom was TINY. I believe they swapped the bedroom/ bathrooms bc the 2 dbl beds were in the larger bedroom with the newly remodeled and larger bathroom. The small “ master” bathroom was leaking down onto the condo below us. The first day we were there, the owner of that condo came knocking on our door to report that it was leaking. He said he’d get ahold of maintenance. They never came, so I contacted the front desk to have them come. I didn’t want to damaged the poor man’s walls, etc. In the end, during our week stay, maintenance came at least 3 times to
try to fix the problem. Definitely not something you want to deal with when you are on a vacation especially when we paid way over $3000 for this condo.
I saw in the photos that the kitchen looked dated but what attracted me was the property. It is on the end of a beach where a small river bisects the beach. At low tide you can cross it and pretty much have an ENTIRE beach to yourself as there are no high rises south of this property. That was excellent. Ocean, beach and the pools were perfect. Beachside restaurant was fun. Man there played awesome music as you enjoyed food and drinks. Overall, I would probably stay there again, only because of the outdoor property, but would go in with much lower expectations of the condo (and would not pay the price I paid though for such a dated place ). They need to remodel.
